Please do not bypass the swearing filter. It is there for a reason. Paajarvi will be a star in that league, unlike where he will be in any other league.

Ok, i didnt now it was Stasi who set the rules.
No, its just messed up. EL is perhaps the worst league in Europe. Pääjärvi wouldnt sign whit them even if he played with one leg.

No Archi sets the rules, as it's his site. And there's a swearing filter, and you were politely asked to not try to bypass it by someone who's been a member of the site since 2006. I see you've only recently joined, and don't yet release TBL's not like other sites (and your namecalling response is offensive given the effort those you're putting down put into hosting/maintaining the site as well as rosters/editing tools/etc)embretsen wrote:Ok, i didnt now it was Stasi who set the rules.

Dear embretsen,
I tried to be polite but if you prefer to namecall you are quite welcome not to come here and go somewhere else. You have 14 whole posts, have not read around and clearly did not even read the regulations when signing up for the site. This site is friendly for all, and instead of coming back with a "sorry I am new here, I did not realize the rules" You come back with that? Too bad, so sad. Here I was trying to give you an opportunity. I even said please.
ANd yeah....to be on topic...I know Paajarvi would not sign in that league...I was making a joke. But again, since you are new here and have clearly not read around to see my posting style and what happens around here AT ALL...you would not know that.
Now I am not going to pick a fight, just maybe you are right. You know better than all of us here, and that is fine.
That is two people now who have asked you to sort through the rules and do as others do. If you choose to come back with something unapologetic, sarcastic and rude again....maybe just maybe we here will not have to worry about you anymore.

Was that polite enough?
On topic. How the F would i know that u made a joke about Pääjärvi? I posted my thoughts and u answer.
"Paajarvi will be a star in that league, unlike where he will be in any other league."
That if something is an unpleasantly reply imo.

Not really, since you decided to break forum rules again. Same rule.
Again, you would know if maybe just maybe you actually read some stuff before writing. Anyway, enough of this....and Paajarvi would not be a star in about 4 leagues. The top 4 in the world. He has proven that. THat was my joke and my point.
Thanks for understanding and for getting on board the way this forum runs. Glad you get it.

There is a swearing filter in place for a reason. Name calling is also an issue. Please once again think before posting.

Re: TBL Rosters 2014-15 Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
Please no bypassing of the swear filter. I want to keep this a family friendly forum and keep the language clean. A request of "Please do not bypass the swearing filter" ought to be enough really. No need to debate it further.
Can we get this back on topic now please.

Re: TBL Rosters 2014-15 Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
For AHL affilitation changes for next season (2015-2016) I have gone through the old roster updates that I still had on my machine to see if there was anything that could be added into them to do that, and I found it!.
I've added this into mine:
"AFFILIATION_CHANGE" "Arizona Coyotes" "Portland Pirates" "Springfield Falcons" 1 7 2015
"AFFILIATION_CHANGE" "Colorado Avalanche" "Lake Erie Monsters" "San Antonio Rampage" 1 7 2015
"AFFILIATION_CHANGE" "Columbus Blue Jackets" "Springfield Falcons" "Lake Erie Monsters" 1 7 2015
"AFFILIATION_CHANGE" "Florida Panthers" "San Antonio Rampage" "Portland Pirates" 1 7 2015
On my first test run it worked apart from Columbus who got stuck with the falcons (leaving Lake Erie with no affiliate), but I think that was due to accidentally leaving in an entry for Lake Erie Monsters moving their own affiliation from themselves, simming another season atm to confirm that this will now work.
Edit after completed sim of 1st season.
Hmm, still doesnt work, something is preventing the Blue Jackets from changing their affiliation.
Tried a few more times, for some reason changes to Columbus doesnt take effect...
No idea how to code the other AHL stuff coming though, teams moving from ECHL to AHL and vice versa...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_AHL_season
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80 ... CHL_season
Any thoughts on how this can be achieved?

Michal Macho's year of birth is 1982 rather than 1977.

Re: TBL Rosters 2014-15 Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
I've noticed that starting goalies start way too many games, and in many cases, win far too many. Quick, Howard, and Price among others have all won 50 games or more in the regular season alone, and teams go 16-2-0 in playoffs. However, tweaking goalies so that they aren't rated so high produces more realistic results without effecting scoring. having 170 as the highest CA seems to work really well. If backups are closer to the starter's CA they seem to play more, and teams aren't winning 60 games a season.

The goalie starts have nothing to do with the database. This should be in the sim feedback thread, and maybe posted on SI forums.

As I said though, lower goalie stats produce more realistic results. Thus, databasebatdad wrote:The goalie starts have nothing to do with the database. This should be in the sim feedback thread, and maybe posted on SI forums.

I've seen goalie fatigue reported on the SI Bugs Forum. I don't know about team selection AI however. But yeah this is the wrong thread for this issue.batdad wrote:The goalie starts have nothing to do with the database. This should be in the sim feedback thread, and maybe posted on SI forums.

Guys,
havent really checked much Slovenian national team and players but notice that Luka Gracnar (starting goalie of Salzburg and winner of EBEL) is made very poor (in my challenge game with Flyers). Many said he should be drafted in 2013 draft and played some great games later in WC against Canada etc. He should be 2nd best goalie with CA close to top Slovenian goalie Kristan. Gracnar should have a potential to play in one of top leagues in Europe or AHL in USA.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned in this thread but just in case it hasn't i think McDavid needs a boost. The guy isn't putting up any where near the points he should be. This goes for a lot of the rookies from the 2015 draft class. He got 19 points in 73 games his rookie year ( Should be closer to 50 i think) and 16 points in 43 games in season two. When i have a chance to draft McDavid i often feel like passing him up for another player who i know will have better production.

We know. Youngsters developed a lot faster in EHM07 for which TBL Rosters were made for. I will re-evaluate the prospects for the next release.krownroyal83 wrote:I'm sure it's already been mentioned in this thread but just in case it hasn't i think McDavid needs a boost.
