Player interest/trading issue

Post by StealthB2X »

So I have Ryan Reeves on the block at the moment, and the Hurricanes are 'showing interest' in him

He has the 'WNT' symbol next to his name, and the 'Canes are listed as interested, so I go to the trade screen to see if I can initiate negotiations and the 'Canes are barely interested in him.

He only has ** and ANY sort of trade comes back as 'We don't want Reeves as any part of this deal' or 'This offer requires some time to think' and so on.

If they're 'interested' in him why are they acting like they don't want him at all. They never approached me with a trade offer, either despite being interested for about 2-3 weeks.

Sometimes they can be interested in a player that has a low value. They will act as if they don't want him much because it's not a decent player and you can't ask for much in return. It means he would be easier to trade there than with some other teams. If it was a quality player or prospect it would be different.

Put on the block and Offer to all and You'll se who's interested of him. *** depends of actuall season stats too. Once in 2007 I receive one good player from free agency and he has * on the start. After few matches it grows to ****.

Yeah, his average rating isn't all that high, 6.70 (Which I'm starting to think is about the norm in EHM:EA) He's a +5, with a goal and an assist in 20 games, and 20 penalty minutes.
I'd think though that a smaller team looking for size/grit might find interest in him.

I tried offering to all, got nothing, might increase his playing time the next few games and see if he becomes useful for me on the ice, or for me in a trade LOL
