I will use this thread to post little teaser screenshots to show you different new and improved aspects of the game. The Road to Release articles will go into more details once we are close to release.
To start, here is the new tactical screen from FHM 2 (it will look the same in FHM 2014, the FHM 2 GUI is just nicer to show
).
As always, all logos are just for presentation and will not be part of the game!

Are those setting settable per player or just per line? Looks awesome!

Look really good - neat and tidy.
Will these tactical settings be a part of the match engine patch for FHM 2014?

From my post: "(it will look the same in FHM 2014, the FHM 2 GUI is just nicer to show)", so yes.

To start just per line. But individual strategies are on our list and will be added as soon as we have some time. They will just override the line tactics when in.

Thanks Sebastian. I clearly ought to have spent more time reading and less time looking at the screenshot!!

Since it is weekend another small feature we added into FHM 2.
When hovering over a player name you will get a small popup with some quick infos. Markus told us it is one of two small new features in OOTP 16 that people absolutely love, so we added it to the new FHM as well.
@ Colin: this time I did not hide any important info in the text so just enjoy the screenshot.

That's a very neat feature indeed. I think the historical/statistical histories stored in the game is a real strength of FHM.

This looks really good. Just one remark - Ben Smith is no longer with Blackhawks

The base idea for the GUI was from Colin and he and all the other researchers/tester did a great job with feedback so we could really do a good job to improve it massively. IMO it works pretty good now in both, look and usability. Of course there is always room for more improvements in the future.

We'll be reviewing the rosters before release to ensure 100% accuracy. Tidbits like this will be taken care of.

Todays small new feature teaser is something that is pretty unspectacular on the screenshot but we got asked for it a lot in the past, so we took some time last week and added it to FHM 2: the possibility to take basic control of your farm teams (your decision if you want control none, all, or some).

Very useful indeed.
I know a lot of people both in EHM and FHM have wished they could have some control over their farm teams without having to be the full GM/Coach of the team.

New week, new feature teaser.
This one is also a nice little cosmetic feature we got from OOTP 16:
On every player we show icons for every award they won throughout their career. So you always now how successful a player was.
