Post by mark_htfc »

Hey,

Hope the title is clear enough. I am thinking about updating the game to this seasons stats etc. So make all the transers to the correct team, Tams in correct league and so on. I was wonderin if I was to do this in my spare time (along side college) what would I need to use??

Which game are you looking to update?

If you're talking about EHM 2007 you'll need an editor. There's one or two guys working on an editor (Gambit is doing one and mne2 is doing another). These things take a while to complete so we're probably going to have to wait a couple of months for an editor.

Personally, i dont really mind about the AAL-4 being changed, or even player stats. The main one i like to have changed is the Arena names.

Cheers. I knew there was an Editor out there but wasn't too sure if I would need something else aswell as the Editor.

You'll probably need some coffee, along with a wig to pull the hair out of... unless you don't mind losing your own. ;)

There currently is no Mac editor as the coding is different, hopefully some day we can find a Mac coder to get one up and running

Yeah I know cheers. What I might do is look into it deeply on the Internet. Ask my teacher also tomorrow who does programming with me to see if she can give me any advice/ideas etc. Then try crack onto doing it. If not I will ask around, and do some major research then will create one if I can get enough info.

Using the 2005 game editor, is there any way of increasing the number of teams in a competition. For example, could i increase the clubs in the EIHL from 9 to 12? At the moment, if i try and do this, it will allow you to pick one of the 12 teams to coach, but then discards 3 of the teams when the game starts.

No I don't think you can. I don't think you can edit competition rules etc. So I don't think you could increase it to 12. You could try though.

Nope, the number of teams in a competition is hard-coded into the game and cannot be changed
