How players develop

Post by krownroyal83 »

I'm fairly new to EHM. I mean i played the old school EHM free version back in the day but i didn't play any of the other versions. In relation to how players develop in EHM:EA. For example there is this player on a team that's not mine that was taken in the 2nd round 45th over all and in his rookie season has scored 55 points in 62 games so far. If i was to start a new game can i expect him to roughly as good as he is now and develop the same? Or is it completely random?

If it's the same as football manager then it depends on the player(I believe I've read this here too) - some have set potential ranges of about 20PA in the database, but some are variable so can be better or worse but still within a range of about 60PA I think? Mostly the undrafted prospects I believe, so you may find a player goes from a 2nd liner to a 1st, or drops to 3rd, but they won't be wildly different.

Someone please correct if this is wrong!

Young players (typically those age 23 and under) will have a variable PA, older players will have a set/static PA.
Here's a link to the Players Attribute Guide http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =13&t=4920 if you scroll a little past hallway down you'll see an explanation of the 15 variable PAs
