Pics on external hard drive?

Post by jackknife77 »

Is it possible to put all the profile pics, backgrounds and all that stuff on an external hard drive and make the game take it from there?

Right now it's all under the Steam folder on my PC SD card and I don't have a lot of space left on it.

No, I'm afraid they must be in the correct folder structure. Unless, and I don't know if this can be done in Windows, you can set a symbolic link between the folders (this is something that is easily done in Linux).

Alternatively, you can might try hex editing the exe file - but it's messy unless you know what you're doing - and I'm not totally sure it's possible to switch locations to quite the extent you need.
