EHM:EA Rosters - Playable Leagues?
Hi,
I've installed the 7.3 update to EMH. I can see the database when starting a new game and it says it loads however I still only have the 5 nations/11 leagues that EMH shipped with. I have followed the entire readme and the database is extracted in to the correct folder. Any one else having problems or am I doing something wrong?

Re: EHM:EA Rosters
The rosters do not affect what leagues are playable in game. Only SI Games can make additional leagues playable.

Forgive me for being dim, the 7.3 update lists Britians leagues as playable - is that only on EMH07?

Re: EHM:EA Rosters - Playable Leagues?
No - the 7.3 Rosters update the attributes and transactions. We cannot make leagues playable - that's down to the SI (because the game has to be coded in order to make a league playable).
The UK is playable in EHM 2007 but not EHM:EA yet. The reason is that Riz must update all of the rules, structures, schedules, etc - and this takes time (particularly in the case of the EIHL with its relatively unusual league standings and seeding system). I'm hopeful the EIHL and EPL will be playable at some point during Early Access and in the meantime, I will continue to keep them updated.

I see. So once the league is playable the teams will already be there on your roster update.
Although very very well versed in FM, EHM is at the moment feels like a classic game so getting used to things again takes a bit of time!
Thanks for explaining.

It is not top on the list but eventually it'll get added. It would be of great help if you or someone wrote the league regulations for us.

Don't know where to ask and I don't want to start another topic. Is there any possibility that in future Champions Hockey League will be added? It'd be great to see these competitions in new EHM

Yes. It was held last year and it's not "that big thing" like football/soccer Champions League in Europe yet, but it may definitely grow in few years (I hope so, because IMO hockey needs more international competitions). Here you can read more informations about this year edition

Yes and that's the main reason why a lot people complained that it's mickey mouse tournament, but I watched some games and most of them were on interesting level (despite empty seats during many games). Founders of CHL say that they are trying to convince KHL to participate, but I suppose it's long way... Anyway it would be cool to see that tournament in EHM

I don't know if you ever played EHM 07, but there were many more playable leagues in it and if this game gains any traction and gets developed I expect the depth and playability to go way beyond that

Re: EHM:EA Rosters - Playable Leagues?
I'm rather new to game, I've started playing EHM last year, but this game possessed me
I keep fingers crossed to see some new leagues (especially NLA and maybe something crazy and exotic
) because I like playing with smaller teams

We might see the Swiss leagues soon. Something else people have been interested in would be American colleges to be playable which as far as I know has never happened in a video game.

Re: EHM:EA Rosters - Playable Leagues?
It doesn't give me the option to re-import the database even after deleting the TBL rosters folder, putting it back and renaming the folder all didn't work.
Although I thought that the TBL rosters were already in EHM:EA format and didn't need to be imported? When I drop the TBL rosters folder into the database folder i can select it without then importing it

I think it needs to be re-imported to get the new playable leagues. Download it again, place in the database folder, then import. That should do it.

Great. Just click the import button after every patch. That's what I do.

Re: EHM:EA Rosters - Playable Leagues?
Must've been the old EHM: EA version. Since we've learned that a re-import is needed, we've stopped sharing the EA version and just go with 07-version.
