Morale issue appears to be a bug....have a look around in the other threads. No need for this to become your personal question thread. :-D

Don't mind batdad... sometimes users that have horribly high post counts tend to get bent out of shape about new threads etc...

Some of us don't have time to search or dig through threads all the time. He's consistently telling others about the new thread thing.

This is a common issue in forums with people that have been here a long time. It's a entitlement thing. Pretty annoying to be honest.

Well, i agree that batdad can be "special" at times, and we have certainly had our differences, but the fact here is that he's right. This forum is very easy to navigate and the search function is very good, use it. So yeah, do mind batdad this time.

Absolutely not getting bent out of shape gentlemen. Nor do I. Just asking that the forum rules that archibalduk sets down...the guidelines for forum etiquette be respected. Remember, archi does a TON of stuff for free for you guys to enjoy a game, including running this site and making editors etc. He has asked that his...and I mean HIS forums be respected at all times and the way he wants things to be done to be respected. Should you not do that, I will call it out lafontaine.

So in general as a veteran user who has been working with archi on this site since EHM 2007 came out, I would like that people such as yourself respect archi's wishes. This is not a free for all, it is not a free speech site, it is archi's private website so please follow the rules.

And lafontaine...considering the presence you have on this site and this is what the third time you have told someone not to mind what I said? Maybe you should check into your self and what you are doing on this privately owned and operated website. I am helping new users to learn to follow the guidelines. And no, I will not post them here. People should learn how to look for things themselves. so...no I am not taking it as a joke that you lkely intended it to be.

It is not an entitlement issue, nor is it an annoying issue. IT is an issue of following what the owner asks for.

My reminder to the new person who posted this thread to look around instead of posting 20 questions on different topics in it, was gentle and not harsh. But you continue to have issues with my reminders, because you think I am some stereotype of a grizzled old web forum user. I am not. I tease and have fun, and when rules are not followed i tend to try and help archi out. He has enough on his plate with all that he does for you.

So instead of posting about how annoyed you are about me, or how entitled you think I am...how about you get off your high horse and contribute something?

theres the response I was looking for...

and for your information dude...

I've been lobbying hard for EHM the game, and this website. It is all very appreciated.

I use my own personal time to try to get people involved in this new game.

So just chill out... and yeah you can get 90% of the questions from other threads but the dude was very harmless with his questions... so what's the big deal? you always chime in with this "know it all" entitlement...

and that my friend... is "annoying"

Almost everything have been asked here in the 11 years (close enough) of this forum. It is easy to do a search of your own and not be lazy about it. Creating new threads is not that bad but if it can be avoided by moving your fingers on the keyboard, why not. :)

And like I've said to many guys over the years here, unfortunately yes, batdad is mostly right. :D He doesn't often use the right words to express himself with finesse but that's the way he is. :D So no need to jump on your chair for that.

Ideally I'd rather see different topics in different threads. It makes things easier to find. When you carry out a Forum Search you'll normally get just the thread title and, if you choose the right setting, a snippet from the start of the post. If we get lots of topics in the same thread then it gets pretty confusing pretty fast - and the search results will be pretty meaningless.

I can see why Secondary_ posted the second question here and there's totally no problem with that. I don't think Batdad was being rude. Ultimately if somebody has a problem with something somebody has said I'd much rather they click the "!" Report button above the post in question. Then I can deal with it rather than the user's original thread being totally derailed.

I'm going to lock this now. :\
