I've moved this to the Game Addons Forum as it relates to rosters rather than General EHM Chat.

I'd recommend the 2006/07 Updated Unfaking DB: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 77&t=11330

You will need to borrow the import_config.cfg file from the EA 2006 DB and copy to your Unfaking DB folder before importing. This will ensure you get the correct 2006/07 rules, league structures and start date.

I've seen this issue come up in a few threads, but nobody seems to have a solution. Is there a specific way the config file needs to be edited in order to be able to import the 2006 rosters into EHM:EA?

Hmmm...IIRC the 1974 DB imported with a 2006 setup (almost all of my time has been spent editing; I'm hoping to get some playtime in July!).

I think the 1974 DB was based on the original 2006 database, and not the unfaking - maybe the issue is the unfaked names (or some of them)? Maybe the game at start-up is looking for all the teams that are in the original 2006 database, and not the unfaked names?

It actually seems that the problem is the number of teams in some of the Scandinavian leagues. I'm not at home right now, so can't post the exact errors, but I think someone has posted them in another thread.

EDIT:

From another post here on the forum:

"Team count from DB does not match team count in basic rules for Finnish SM-League (42 teams found, 14 needed)."
"Team count from DB does not match team count in basic rules for Swedish Allsvenskan (32 teams found, 16 needed)."
"There were errors when trying to create playable leagues, the original database may be corrupt and could not be imported correctly."
