2d Player Icons with Helmets

Post by Athebes1 »

Hi

These are playerdots with helmets as mentioned. They're not really a big deal from the already downloadable ones, except that they have helmets on. I have decided not to post the striped helmets ones, because I think they look to messy and simply don't look like anything useful. So it's only the white helmet ones I will upload for downloading, despite of showing pictures of the striped ones, sorry about that. The white helmets are the ones I use myself, and I can't stand the striped ones to be honest...Hehe. That's why.

**If you're in doubt finding where your EHM:EA game folder is installed:

Open steam and press on your game "Library" to the upper left next to "Store," "Community." Find "Eastside Hockey Manager" in the left pane, which shows a list of all your games. Once located, rightclick on EHM:EA and a dropdown window will pop up. All the way down at the bottom you'll find "Properties." Press that and a new one pops up. Press the one that's called "Local Files" at the top, and once pressed, you just press on "Browse Local Files" and Voila, your EHM:EA game folder will pop up automatically. From there just follow the further instructions below.

Download: http://1drv.ms/1BV0ptA

Folder contents:

1 "player" folder

Installation instructions:

1: Download the file: "Players.with.helmets.zip".
2: Unzip the file using Winrar, 7zip or any other file unzipper. (For easy location of the folder you could unzip it to your desktop.)
3: **Go to: \Steam\steamapps\common\Eastside Hockey Manager\data\skins\ehm_default\ingame.(You'll find two other folders here as well, "puck" and "rink")
4: Rename the original folder "player" to "player1," "playerOld" or "playerOriginal" Whatever you want as long as it's not called player.
5: Place the new unzipped "player" folder into \Steam\steamapps\common\Eastside Hockey Manager\data\skins\ehm_default\ingame.
6: Start the game once your done.

And that's it! I hope you will enjoy them.

If you still have problems with the installation your're welcome to visit TBL's forum in the games and add-ons forum to find/ask any questions you might have.

If you really want them I could possibly do them, but it would take some days, because I kind of disgarded them as being rubbish. One thing you'll have to understand is that the not zoomed ones probably wont be able
to show the stripes since the pixels are to low a count to show, meaning that the space to make the stripes on the small ones is almost none existant. There's only about 4 pixels to make the helmet itself and therefore no space available.
I hope you'll understand. But if you're always playing in zoomed mode it's of course possible. Another thing is that the stripes on the helmets will take the same colour as their shirt colour for some reason. And making the stripes appear
on the white players are tricky to make visible without messing the coloured shirts up. As I said, I'm far from being a pro at this. It's more like a trial and error thing for me at this stage, but I will look into it... :-)
Just give me some days, ok... :-) I can't say when I will be done with them as this upcomming week will be a busy one for me, i hope that's ok... :)

sorry, there's 6 pixels on the little ones, but unfortunately only two rows, so.

No problem Athebes :-) . I like to switch between zoomed and no zoomed modes, so it will be cool. Actually i like the stripes being the same color as the shirt haha  Take your time bud, i really appreciate your work :-)

I've decided and found some time to do them before I thought possible. Concerning the stripes being the same colour as the shirts will not be the case, as the white ones lose their stripes if done that way.
So I hope it doesn't matter that the stripes became more dark/black than shown in the pics and lost their coloured stripes for the white ones to keep theirs. sorry about that Andrew55... :dunno:
