How to sim to a date

Post by baken1942 »

I haven't played EHM since 2005, but recently purchased the EHM:EA on Steam

I am curious on a couple of things that I cannot seem to find.

Is there an option to sim to a certain date/end of the season? I want to start with the 2015/2016 season.

With that being said as well, I would like to start that season with the latest draft picks as well (McDavid - Edm, Eichel - Buf etc)

Are there options?

Just like in EHM05 and in EHM07, you can click on your name at the top of the screen and then click "Go on Vacation" & then you select the date you want to sim until

Currently your options are to do the editing yourself or wait until TBL releases 2015-16 rosters (which will occur around the start of the IRL 2015-16 season)

If you decide to edit things yourself, you can try the EHM:EA Assistant, an editor for EHM:EA that edits some things in a saved game (not sure if it'll do what you want) http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... +assistant

The other option is you edit an EHM07 database and then import it into EHM:EA
To edit an EHM07 database you can use the Pregame Editor http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=6745 or the EHM Updater http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... hm+updater
TBL 7.3 is the most recent rosters available http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... hp?t=13590

To sim to a certain date: From the General Manager menu (it'll be entitled with your name, at the very top of the screen) -> General Manager Options and you'll see "Go on Vacation" options.

As for the latest draft picks: Nobody has released a DB update yet (the TBL Roster Update will not be released until the start of next season).

EDIT: Oops, crossed posts!

Thank you for this info, I will see about possibly doing it myself, I am more concerned with the main guys really, like the first and second rounds of the past draft, so I could probably do that myself. I will take a look.

Thanks

Take to long to update free-Agent List http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=773192 or get Draft Picks on Teams because so many Drafted in 7 Rounds because I was going to try. I got as far as Trades minus Draft Picks that were moved, just move Players to new Team didn't update all of Contracts for Free-Agent Signed just a couple,Connor McDavid playing for Oilers and assigned to Otters. Jack Eichel also rights with Buffalo. Blackhawks are Top Prospects Teams just if your woundering.
