Just because you've read a few comments by a few morons on OOTP Forums doesn't mean we are all like that. There are morons on every forum, even here!

I would never use the word moron. That's the hyperbole I'm talking about (and for those that work with special needs individuals the word has added offensiveness). People should be allowed to express different views without being called names/attacked for it, and that's not something I see over at the OOTP/FHM forums.

For me the idea of "I can troll back just as hard as they can troll me" is something one should not say/do (two wrongs don't make a right!), but clearly there are many at OOTP/FHM that feel differently

Nino, I act on the internet exactly as in real life. I try to be helpful and respectful, and I'll give the benefit of the doubt more often than not. However, I do not suffer fools very easily. If someone is acting irrationally and/or breaking the rules of common human decency, I'm going to call them on it, and not in a friendly manner. I make no apologies for my perspectives, nor do I intend to change my style or presentation.

Heck, you've got a guy right here in your community who acts much the same way, and has done so for years. When I read some of his posts, frankly I think he can be a bit of an impatient dick. He's practically the patron saint of this website, yet I don't see any of the TBL regulars give him a hard time. He is who he is, and that's fine.

I won't post again in this thread, as it's not leading anyplace constructive.

You might have to adjust sometimes...because the "rules of common human decency" are a lot more relaxed at OOTP/FHM than they are here at TBL, and that tone/environment isn't wanted here at TBL

You can disagree with somebody's viewpoint, but if you're going to purposely do things "not in a friendly manner" you're no better than those you're attacking (and for many you lose most of your credibility when you do so).....a "friendly manner" is what's wanted at TBL
