Max. Size of facepack pictures

Post by Suther »

Hi, I may or may not try to make a facepack in the future, and I'm wondering if anyone would happen to know the maximum a size (like hight & width) of pictures in the facepack. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I'm not entirely sure if this should go onto the game addon forum instead, so sorry in advance if it's in the wrong one!

Think it's 157 x200. At least that's what I'm using.

Actually the max size is 200x200. Personally I think they look a lot better than 157x200. At least the cut-out pictuers do.

If you're doing a "face", then it usually isn't as wide as the height. :-D So no point going wider really than 157 in that case..

There's some useful guidance here which might help:
archibalduk wrote:Player face images should be in PNG format and 157px wide x 200px tall. If the head takes up the full 200px then it can look a bit cramped in-game. Most packs I have seen created by users leave the top 4px of the image blank/transparent so that the top of head isn't too close to other elements on the screen.
