Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2014-15
Sad that I missed the most fun part about the league and wow, I really hate my team. There were some decent guys drafted but the build as a whole wont be good for sure. Most of my drafted guys are available in-case we dont re-draft.
Some notable guys are Thornton, Niemi, Gibson OReilly, Zibanejad, Cammalleri, Couturier and Kuznetsov among others. Lots of points to be collected.

I am throwing out deals to the left and right and so far only one person actually answered and only two set up a trade block. Lets get started guys!
What do you guys think about letting us who missed the draft due to the wrong time being set getting to change up our team with FA without it counting agains the acquisition limit until the official opening of the FA? That would even it up a bit at least.

All moves before the season starts does not count against the acquisition limits.visualdarkness wrote:I am throwing out deals to the left and right and so far only one person actually answered and only two set up a trade block. Lets get started guys!

I have not yet opened up FAs. Send me a wishlist and I'll get you set up. If more than one team wants a player then the lower ranked team gets the player.
What teams missed the draft due to my time screw-up? Surahammar and Västerås I know of

It seems like more people was at the draft than last year, despite the mess-up. I think that is a good sign!

There doesn't seem to be much, if any, activity on the Free Agency. Is it open for those who missed the draft? When will it be open to the rest of the league?

I'm waiting to hear back from Surahammar and Glasgow on their free agents. I have given them a deadline.m0fownz0r wrote:There doesn't seem to be much, if any, activity on the Free Agency. Is it open for those who missed the draft? When will it be open to the rest of the league?

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2014-15
Really, nobody interested in one of the best playmakers in the league in Thornton? He just doesnt fit my build that well and I even had him before and traded him away for the same reason and almost regretted it that time.

Hey VD, what are you looking to get for Niemi? Or even Chad johnson?

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2014-15
Mainly a significant upgrade on RW, without crushing my goaltending completely. I barely got any RW but I am overstocked on good C and LW.m0fownz0r wrote:Hey VD, what are you looking to get for Niemi? Or even Chad johnson?

I am still looking for more RW but almost every offer people send me is for LW, C and D.

Re: Minstrel Hockey League 2014-15
You should do like me
Whenever I get bored at work, I start throwing trade proposals around. Granted, the vast majority gets declined but some of them get a good look.
Plus, maybe it's a bit early in the season and people are just being patient with their roster.
Also, keep in mind, that there are a few inactive GMs.

I might need a day or two to decide what to do with this offer, I'm really on the fence here

I've seen that two teams have been totally inactive so far.
I have noticed them to pick up the slack

I just hope you won't go 12-0-0 this week
Especially with my goalie situation.

I'm also in the market for RW. Most notable trading chip - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
