Too many games going to shootout??

Post by koblun17 »

I think 7 shootouts a month is a little high IMO, anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes, I've noticed this as well. It seems that 75% of games that go to overtime go to a shootout. Considering the update adding 3 on 3 OT, it should be around 30% of OT games going to a shootout, or somewhere around there, in my opinion.

I agree. Sometimes it seems almost impossible to get a winner in OT. A PP and no winner in OT seems almost a guarantee I feel. ;) I'm rarely watching the 2D so I have no idea how players act in the new 3-on-3, it feels like it's still based on the old system.
