Malhotra Training/Practice Guide

Post by connormcjesus »

So I found this guide for practices in EHM 2007 and was wondering if people have used it with success in the new EHM? I'm using it right now and it seems to work pretty well but my players will often get injured in practice and be out for a few days or a week. Thoughts?

I was wondering the same thing... This guide is really nice and well explained, but when I follow its lines my guys are always too tired and get injured...

I seem to recall it being possible to run some pretty heavy training regimes in EHM 2007 provided you gave your players so lighter duties every now and then. I'm not familiar with the Malhotra Training (I let my Head Coach deal with training), but it might explain why you're getting tired and injured players (i.e. if this "exploit"/approach is no longer feasible in EHM 1). Try putting your players on lighter schedules in order to reduce tiredness and the risk of injury.

I still basically use this training method in the new EHM and have seen no ill effects....
