Salary Cap and Auto-signing

Post by Rolo »

Can salary cap be turned off or increased to a very large amount?

Is there an 'Auto-sign all' functionality?

Reason I ask, I'm going to run a sim league, and will handle signings and cap outside the game.

I don't know if this is what you mean, but you can set the AI to renew all expiring contracts in general manager options. But that's just teams that you control.

You can turn off or change salary cap in "transfer_rules_config" file. Just change the number and reimport db after changes.

Perfect, so it will renew them all no matter what?

Yes, if you set it to 'all expiring', it will offer everyone who have their contract expiring at the end of the season. Note that the player obv has to want to sign a new contract. And that they might request more money every season (=your budget might not handle it and the AI can't offer proper contracts. So maybe you should change their budgets higher aswell)

Someone with more knowledge on this can lighten the subject up more.
