And one more question - are present young draft stars in the 2006 database? Thanks a lot for your answer!

I answered your PM on that.MatyLA wrote:Hello, I would like to ask you a question:
Are in this database real players until the present? For example McDavid, Zacha, Crosby,...?
Thank you for your answer!
For all the others here. No, they're not. Crosby might be.
No. Are you talking about the original 2006 Database or UUDB?MatyLA wrote:And one more question - are present young draft stars in the 2006 database? Thanks a lot for your answer!

Re: 1998/99: CJ Rosters v0.9 (Discussion & Add-ons)
Back in February 2009 Lazion released the 1998 DB.
CJ released an improved version in November 2013.
Since then CJ, Archi, Manimal and I have been working on further improving the 1998 DB.
I’m hopeful we’ll have a releasable 1998 DB in early 2016.
CJ has focused on the NHL, I’ve been working on the WHL/OHL/QMJHL, North American Staff and “future players” (up to and including 2017 Draft prospects!). Manimal has done some NCAA work and some young prospects work and Archi has worked on the British Leagues.
There are no longer any "modern" Players or Staff in the 1998 DB
While the 1998 DB will most definitely be “playable” from a North American perspective, it won’t really be as playable worldwide because while the real life, historical rosters are in the game outside of North America most players aren’t yet rated.
There's a lot of IRL players on the existing rosters, with 0/0 for both CA/PA and Offensive/Defensive Role, and none have the new Player Role.....these 5 things (and maybe a few more) could make a big difference (make worldwide play more feasible/enjoyable). People interested in helping could use the Research Sheet for CA & I've got some basic guidelines for Offensive/Defensive Role and even some for PA and the Player Role too; IMO people interested in helping don't need to "know" the players...if they're interested/willing and can follow some basic stat/chart based guidelines, they can be very helpful even without knowing the players at all)
What is needed most is CA, PA, Offensive/Defensive Role and Player Role.
Here's a look at the number of players/Leagues that could use some attention.....there’s the Swedish (298), Finnish (401), Czech (415), Slovak (243), Swiss (300), German (341) and Russian (568) Elite Leagues & lower Leagues like Metis (328) and Allsvenskan (195) and more! & Minor Pro in North America too (341 AHL, 126 ECHL, 110 IHL, 220 UHL and 396 UHL) + lower Junior Leagues and some College/University too
If anyone wants to help with rating players, please contact me via PM!
Let me know what you're interested in doing, and include your email address I can email you what you'll need to get started
All that’s required is the interest, commitment and the time to do so (even with guidelines/charts to follow, it takes many hours to go through a League full of players and add a few ratings to each player)

Re: TBL Retro Rosters 1998/99 ** HELP NEEDED **
We're working on a whole new 98 database which will be a lot different and more functioning than this old version that was here. Everything has been redone for this new version and it's made for EHM 1. So all birth dates will be correct etc.jossc wrote:just wondered if the players birthdates are going to be correct in the final release?

How is the work going on the updated version?
Itching to play it, haha. I would really like a retro roster with proper histories, records etc. The one from 92-93 is a lot of fun to play for nostalgia reasons, but all players start off with empty histories so players don't get the legendary stats they ought to, and that kind of sucks. So it would be great with updated stats for the players as well as adding all the roster picks up until present day. Like merging the draft pool of the latest release with the earlier setup haha.

Work is progressing, hope to have a testable version sometime in April and then we'll see about a release after that (maybe by later April/May)

We're nearing us the finish line on this. Nino is finishing up the OHL (talking about days not weeks). After we've imported everything we'll run some tests with the database. If everything is good with it, it's ready for a release.m0fownz0r wrote:Yep, pretty muchjhcjobpb wrote:Impatient are we?m0fownz0r wrote:The weather is great in Varna.
