Looks really good. We should look into getting rink logos for all EIHL and EPL teams. I'll see if I can help find some source images when I have some spare time.
I'm getting annoyed with looking at the standard SI logo in the UK rinks and so I'm going to see if I can put together an EIHL and EPL pack. Naturally I have started with the Flames!
I have been wondering, since the rinks folder have the "faceoff" subfolder, does it mean that other parts of the rink apart from the centre ice and the offensive zone faceoff circles can be customised as well. If so, then more advertisements could be put on rinks. Right?
I believe somehow you can add boards but I'm not sure how you could add advertisements elsewhere on the ice. Unless perhaps you make a larger faceoff circle image which extends across the rest of the ice.
All of the EPL rinks are now done. I couldn't find a decent photo of the Hull and Sheffield face off circles and so I've just gone with their logos. Bracknell has proven the hardest to do with its rounded text (it's a nightmare making rounded text in GIMP). I'm not 100% happy with how it looks, but it'll do until I find a better way of rounding the text.
I've been toying with trying some 'alternative' sponsor logos for the UK rinks in my game, but never done any picture editing before. I know most don't have advertising in the faceoff circles but thought it would give the rinks a bit more character as we cant put adverts anywhere else on the ice.
Will be using the MK Centre-ice logo in my games for sure, and kudos for sorting and accurate one for Bracknell!

It's not too hard to do. Basically it's a 150x150px png image. The faceoff circle is 130x130px at it's widest points which is centre aligned within the image. Setting opacity of 75% seems to give the right sort of semi-transparency (i.e. 25% transparency depending on the way your graphics software handles the setting). The red line is 8px wide and IMO it works best if you have a 1px blank space either side of the line so there is a gap between the faceoff image and the red line. I believe the largest square you can fit within the faceoff circle is 92x92px so, to give a bit of gap, I think something like 90x90px is the optimum max dimensions of a logo that isn't round.
I've been looking at the NHL ones by CJ which are rather different in style to mine. His are basically resized to roughly 130x130px so that parts of the image will extend outside of the faceoff circle. I'm not sure whether I prefer this style or just keeping the logo within the bounds of the circle (for those teams whose faceoff circle information we don't have). I think I'll try both and then post them here. I have actually completed all the EPL circles but I'm going to redo most of them so they're a bit more uniform.

I tried this and it didn't work. It seems we cannot draw on the ice other than within the five faceoff circles.
This is a pain. That's something we should pester Riz about; more customisable rink surfaces. Without a 3D arena it's a way to give the venue a bit more character.

That is unfortunate. What made you think the boards can be customised?
I wrote an editor that edits the hardcoded data in the EHM 2007 exe including all of the folder paths. One of the paths in the exe seems to relate to boards (the %s is a wildcard):
These make me wonder what happens if you put an image name, for example, "anaheim ducks.png" in Eastside Hockey Manager\data\pictures\rinks\ and Eastside Hockey Manager\data\pictures\rinks\boards\. Maybe the rinks one is just the parent folder for all of the rink sub-folders but it does make me wonder why it is listed with the %s.%s wildcards which seems to mean filename.png.
