Roster fictive names/stats

Post by yan2099 »

Hello,

I have been looking for a roster for Eastside Hockey Manager 2016 that the names and all characteristics of players are fictive to make a fictive league with my friends is there any?

I saw that there is an option to randomly generate names but the stats of players are still the same so you can figure them out.

Thanks allot

No, not really.....but you can probably create one

If you use the blank DB http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 115&t=9924 and import it into the new EHM, and then ensure you check off all the available "create players/staff" options at start-up, you'll get a database full of fictional players/staff (how many you'll get will depend on the size of the database you choose at start-up)

There are additional options that would allow you to change team/league names; you would use the import_config file to do so http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... nto_EHM:EA

There is currently no way of changing the number of teams in playable leagues

I tried to use the import option with the blankdb and the random db ( tried both ) from https://onedrive.live.com/?id=A0FA740E0 ... 0E0329C5C5 . With the randomdb when I use the import option in the game, the game crash. With the blankdb I get several error message while importing then when its finished I clicked <<new career game>> and the database is not there. Also I don't mind using nhl teams/name actually I like it that way its just the players that I want randomized :)

Did you create an import_config file? http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... nto_EHM:EA
The Blank DB doesn't come with one, as it was created for EHM07 years ago
Easiest way would likely be to copy/paste the import_config file from the Default 2006 DB to the Blank DB

I didn't know there was a "random database" HaHa
Maybe A93LE will see this and respond.....

I made that database before I knew about EHM Updater, which can generate a similar, if not identical one with ease. That being said, I never tried to convert it to EHM:EA, so I cannot help you with that. I would use the configuration file of TBL database as a base and work from there. Just a heads-up, though: at least with EHM 2007 the highest PA in the entire world was something like 115, so the database may not be optimal for an enjoyable playing experience.

I believe the new EHM will now create some much better players (if create additional Players/Juniors is checked off at start-up)
