'Third colours' in EHM

'Third colours' in EHM
Howdy all. Editing the colours for the UK teams I saw you could assign 'third' or 'Alternate' colours to the teams. Has anyone ever had these pop up in game? Not played enough NHL games to see for myself (though I intend to remedy this in the next database release).

I've played about 12 seasons in the NHL. Never noticed them unfortunately.
