Hey guys, since the Deadline is approaching, anyone interested in K. Shattenkirk (..or anyone else) - just let me know, I'm sure we can work something out.

I tried reaching to Sheffield Steelers & Who? ShattenkirksBed but they either missed my proposals or are just ignoring them :dunno: I'm pretty sure there is some bug with the trade proposals not showing properly too.

However, Sheffield Steelers doesn't appear to be very active, based on the transactions report, this might be it :-?

Edit: I stand corrected, just logged in, however, didn't reply/accept/decline my trade proposal :-? :dunno: :-k

I just logged in today hadn't logged in since January on there.

I don't want to trade Marchand he's the top goal scorer on my team.

That's fine ;) . However, I presume you declined my proposal yet it still shows as active offer on my screen.

Yeah, good luck people!

I'm not sure if I regret losing Seguin, or that I traded Landeskog and Couture for him, since not only is Seguin out indefinitely but he has done jack squat for me :dunno:

I am happy that we managed to spurt up to the top spots the last weeks before the playoffs, but playoffs will be scary. My team is so inconsistent this year that the weekly format can easily kill them. Rinne is a What the Dickens so without my luck with grabbing Mike Smith from the FA when injured and having him come back in time, I would already been waiving white flags.

Wow =D> Pretty tight semis. I honestly thought I'm a goner when Rask got lit up early on.

Really tight ones! I should have saved a transaction for a goalie change on Sunday instead, but I went for two defenders with blocks and +/-. Ironically the "blocked shots" masters I picked up had ZERO blocked shots for me.... ](*,)

Congratulations to Black Bears FHC =D> for winning the cup final.

I tried to keep my own but in the end injuries to key players prevented me putting more resistance.

Hey Manimal, since it's the offseason now, when will be able to trade for draft picks and such?

I would say open up trading as quickly as possible before activity diminishes due to the summer, but dont allow FA pickups.

Well, trading is active at the moment, not sure about the FA. However, last year it was possible to pick them up as well.

I think, Manimal had to manually placee them back on the market since people picked up some of the players.

I think that is the reasonable way to do it for evening out the league. Trading opens up for "worse" teams to get talent for a discount due to keeper limit and keeping FA locked assures that there will be at least a bunch of (currently as of now) injured or emergency dropped good talent for the draft pool. We need to make the playing field as even as possible so that us with great keepers wont be unbeatable,

I see that Bratislava is stocking FAs right now so I guess Manimal will reverse it.

Yes, I will reverse the pickups that happened.
Any player picked up that wasn't used in the final week will be reversed.
Trading will be opened up, too.

And congrats to the winning team!

Me neither.
Veto'd by the league.

I would think that if a team feels certain trades help them, let them do it... everyone values everyone differently.

I would also think that a trade should only be vetoed if it's clear collusion or dumping, not because one GM values players differently compared to someone else.

I don'[t think vetoes should be used to prevent trades people don't like or to protect a manager from himself.

I hope this isn't something personal.

It is definately not personal.

Me, as League Manager, decided the deal was too one-sided.
I have veto'd those kinds of deals before and will continue to do so

I have to voice my disagreement with the process then.

I think it will be much better and justified if each of us had a veto vote. This way when the league manager blocks a trade people cast their votes and the side with the majority of votes wins.

The way it's done now is rather one-sided and subjective.

If that is what the majority of managers think then we can change the process

I agree 110% with the decision to veto that trade, what the heck was that kind of trade? We cant let a manager that might not even be here completely ruin a team, that is simply the backside of having keepers.
I tried a far more balanced trade but that got rejected instead so I dont now what is up with WSB?

WSB traded Tomas Plekanec, Mon C to SURA
WSB traded Vladimir Tarasenko, StL RW to SURA
WSB traded Wayne Simmonds, Phi LW to SURA
SURA traded Jonathan Toews, Chi C to WSB
SURA traded Joe Thornton, SJ C to WSB
SURA traded Taylor Hall, Edm LW to WSB
