NHL board confidence reactions

Post by StealthB2X »

So following a Stanley cup win in 2018, with an 8-0-0 start to the 2018-19 season I get a board confidence update stating the Directors are a little 'disapointed' with my performance as General manager.

WHAT?

Does this impact my game in anyway?

Maybe you trade out someone who owner like. In my game, my owner little bit hate me, I still won 3 cups in 5 years - but, owner want to trade Draisaitl - he does not like him so much. But i still keep him in my team (I am waiting now for two years, hope owner will change his mind)

The board mechanics are broken indeed. If you finish at the bottom the first year it gets super easy to make the board happy, they wont fire you in most cases after only one year. If you win two Cups the first two season even a one bad loss during the start of the season will crush their trust in you. :help:

The best option right now is to just change the game settings and disable human manager sackings. Doesn't matter how much they hate you since you can't be fired. It's almost like you are the owners' son or something! ;)
