How to change starting date to 2016?

How to change starting date to 2016?

Is there a way to postpone the starting date in the game to 2016? My edited draft-rights doesnt work due to the starting date :(...

But if its possible to make retro-rosters, "future-rosters" should also work... and many leagues have different starting dates... ahh well, guess i'll have some months for a new EHM release(?)...

"import_config.cfg" in the database folder you can change the start year. Open it in notepad, there should be start year somewhere, then just edit it and save. But I'm not sure if you can actually go to the "future". I think that the actual EHM game has to make it a start year. But you can try at least..

Thank you... tried but didn't work... hmm... guess this recuires some hardcore editing skills hehe

I remember that people were waiting for 2015 start date last year also. It will probably come around the same time as the TBL Rosters are ready for a 2016 release.. so it will still be many months I assume.

:( :( :(... can't wait that long...tried to use the "tool" in the NHL eastside hockey manager 2007 editor "Change all staff age"... tried to add "1" year and "+1" but didn't work...

If someone knows any secret trick or something, i'll be glad to edit the entire 2016 draft for you. Im up-to-date with all transactions (contract-renewals, trades, buyouts etc etc) but without the 2016 draft, the game is kinda unplayable :(...

When the 1974 DB was first released in 2012 it had to use a 2006 start date
Then Archi created the Start Date Patch for EHM07 and we could start in 1974!
The new EHM allows for any start date between 1970 -2015

I'd expect the change to the 2016 start date will occur closer to the start of the 2016-17 season

Yeah it's just a case of waiting until SI patch the game in order to enable the new start date. Riz mentioned this may well happen nearer the start of the season.

Ok, thank you for the information..

I guess I have to manage all 30 existing teams and then go on holiday until drafts 2016 and then pick everyone to their teams (not order)... wow this will be an instresting project hehe...
