Applying the Motivation Fix to an existing save file?

So I assumed that the low motivation for coaches was a sign that it was a rare stat but the latest patch (1.2.2) addressed the real reason behind how low it tended to be and has fixed it to where people other than Physios can have great Motivations. My problem is I'm in year 2 of a save and I'm liking what I've done so far, so ideally I wouldn't have to start a new game to get the improved motivation. I don't just want to use Assistant to fix the problem with my coaches because that would leave me with a set of super-coaches compared to everyone else.

No the Motivation bug was towards the new games when the game created the staff members, to my understanding
