I looked around first before posting this topic but feel free to post a link if anybody knows already so couldn't find a date for the next TBL database for v8.3? Will there be one or will EHM roster updates stop since everyone is looking forward to the release of Franchise Hockey Manager 3 coming out soon? I have the second FHM and it looks different but will it be better then EHM? Haven't gotten around to it yet since the 3rd ones coming out soon. Just wondering what others think about the two simulators and which will be better.

There will be a 2016/17 roster release as usual. There's more information in the pink box at the top of this thread. I'm going to lock this thread because we get a lot of these questions.

Anyone know how close TBL are at in releasing their new TBL Roster 8.3 for the 2016-2017 Seasons?

People know as much as you know, it gets there when it gets there. Can be tomorrow, can be next month. People are working on it with the time they got to spend on it.
It's a big job and they've been working on it for a while. They need to add players, remove players, change attributes, change potentials, change teams. And it has to be done for all the teams in all the leagues and more.

Back during the summer they said it would be released around opening night of the season. I guess we all assumed it was the opening night of the 2017-18 season. I would like to think it would be before the new year but I have no clue. The current roster i'm using that does have Vegas has some issues like all the good scouts retiring after a couple seasons which makes the whole scouting system broken so i'm hoping the new rosters don't have this issue.

What he said didn't even make sense to me....last year the TBL Rosters were released December 18th, in 2015 it was November 1st, in 2014 it was October 12th, in 2013 it was December 22nd and in 2012 it was November 7th - so in the last 5 years only once were the rosters even released in October (given that 4 out of the last 5 releases were later than October, and last year's was December 18th, I have no idea why Alessandro said what he said)

For me there's no arguing/no increase in adrenalin level, just passing on some basic facts

Sorry if there is a different thread about this. I couldn't find it if there is. I'm new to the game and was looking at the roster updates and I noticed the least one is for June 2016 or 2017. I read the info article and I didn't really under stand what it was getting at. The home page said 2017/18 roster updates coming. Are all the update now under the most recent file for updates? And when do you think the next will come out?
