"Runtime Error: Overflow 6"

Prior to the development of Eastside Hockey Manager by SI Games, the game was a one-man freeware project by Risto Remes. This forum is the place to discuss any aspects relating to the freeware edition.

"Runtime Error: Overflow 6"

Post by matt77 »

I am running the old version of EHM (Eastside Hockey Manager: 2nd Generation), and I never had a problem with EHM until I decided to start playing again on my new computer with Windows 10. I'm probably not the first one who had the problem, I actually read some thread about this issue here on The Blue Line, but I never found the answer to my problem.

After a certain amount of time in my simulation (usually after the end of the month), I get a "Runtime Error: Overflow 6". I have not been playing around in the players.ehm file or anything like that.

However, I noticed something. I am simulating for a league, and when all the 30 GMs are assigned on the simulator, I never get the Runtime Error from EHM. If I decided to remove 29GMs to play with one team, I will get the Runtime Error after a couple of weeks simulating. So basically, I can start a career but I need to control 30 teams which is pretty annoying.

Anybody has an idea why I always get the error when I play with one team, but I never get the error message if I assign to 30 teams?

Thanks

The freeware version of EHM has it's own Forum on TBL http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... .php?f=112
The issue you're referring to seems too be a known issue, but alas hasn't been figured out/fixed yet http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 12&t=17204
