How looks situation with editing picks? Can we import them or set with Editor? Hope to see in near future options to add playable leagues to EHM1 db version :). Organise info of structures, finances will be easier then make it playable. :) good job!

This looks fantastic. Now we can have a 90 player reserve limit in the NHL instead of the broken 80 that we've had. Possibly other cool things I'm not thinking of yet as well.

Amazing update, do you have a PayPal, would love to donate to this effort, I use your editor daily and it's one of the best tools since NHLView!

Quick question, I apologize if this has been answered, does anyone know how to create try-out contracts? I tried super short contracts and that does not seem to work.

Thanks for the kind words. It's nice to know it is being used on a daily basis. :-) Thanks for the offer of a donation, but I don't do this for money.

I'm not aware that try out contracts can be created in the database. I think this is exclusively a saved game thing (and it will be hidden in a saved game table we cannot edit for now).

Great job with the editor! Can`t wait.
Will we be able to edit contracts more then usual when it`s done? Like two-way, NTC and so on?

Unfortunately it seems things like NTC and two-way contracts cannot be set via the DB.

If I remember correctly from the old editor, the two-way was affected by the players reputation, low reputation with NHL contract = two-way contract. I guess this doesn't really mean anything to the new one just a thought i had.
Thanks for all your hard work, you guys have made this game playable for so many years!

If you're looking for us to help you with finding these source of the issue then you'll need to let us know what exactly you edited. For instance, did you add additional teams to a playable league?

yeah i tried adding a team to allsvenskan just to see if it worked, i dunno if i have to add players and non-players or if i can do that later. it crashes when it says initializing leagues. that is all i know.

EDIT: so apparently i had to set the team i wanted to replace to Nation None(-1) and Proffesional status Invalid. now it works

Not yet, but it'll be added eventually. There will be a section on each Club screen where you can quickly add or release a player or non-player from a team.

Extra_Config ---------> scroll down a short bit and there is a list of injuries. Just delete the line with the player you want to remove the injury from.

But his name aren't in that list, just a bunch of other players.

And btw there aren´t an extra config in this editor just in the ehm07 editor, which i looked in wherethe player i wanted, Marcus Ersson, injury isn't.

The extra_config file is in the data folder in your roster folder, like this:

C: (drive) -->Steam -->SteamApps -->Common -->Eastside Hockey Manager -->Data -->Database -->roster (whatever the name is of the database roster you are using) -->extra_config

If the player is not listed then you are in the wrong database. Hope this helps.

Just open the file in Notepad. This will of course only affect newly created games using the database (and not any existing saved games).

Got an db now that i changed some things in. But the game gives me an runtime error when i try to play using the earliest start. Anyone one have a clue why?

This is roughly what i changed:

Created affiliations for Djurgården-Almtuna as farm team. Between Djurgårdens junior teams to look around the teams easier(done all this before without problems).
Changed some colors for Djurgården and the junior teams.(Never been a problem)
Moved players from some teams in NHL and SHL(swe) and Allsvenskan(swe-2) to Djurgården and released their players.(Never had a problem with moving players).

If that helps. Thankful for any answers :)

EDIT: Think i got a theory, when i can start the game it releases a bunch of players from Djurgården, even if i manage them, so it might be to many players contracted to the team. Right now they are 110st in 5teams, anyone else had this?

Hey Archi, couple of questions about the next release's capabilities:

In my spare time I've been working on a "re-faked" db with created teams in every playable league and I've been hoping to set up a North American structure with all four leagues (NHL/AHL/ECHL/SPHL) having four divisions of 8 teams each so every NHL team will have 3 unique affiliates each. Would I be able to accomplish this in the next release? What about changing the names/parameters of staff awards?

Thanks for your work, your last update had me salivating.
