Thanks for the reply. However, what I was asking is why isn't there a main database file anymore? Without a database file, the EHM editor becomes useless.nino33 wrote:You don't need to download and import the rosters, you can get them via the Steam Workshop.StarboardWinger wrote:I have the exact same problem. With the link provided in the download section, all the files have no main Data Base File in them (unlike in the instruction video) just a long list of .dat files. And when I tried to import the folder in the game it says error because ther's no database file.
Open Steam, click once on EHM in your library and you should see the Steam Workshop for EHM on your screen.....the 8.0a Rosters are in the Steam Workshop, you just click Subscribe, then start a new game and the 8.0a Rosters should be available to select

Older rosters for EHM 1
So I have EHM 2015 not EHM 2007, but ive been looking around for some 06-07 rosters and I can't find any that work. The ones I found on here have outdated download links that no longer work. So if somebody could help I'd appreciate it.
I was also looking for 2010-11 rosters but the links don't work for that either

Re: Rosters
You download the 07 version of a database and then import it into the new EHM (databases are here/links work http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=77)
On the first screen of the new EHM you'll see Import Database; here's an explanation on how to do so http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... nto_EHM:EA
P.S. For 06-07 rosters I recommend CJ's Updated Unfaking Database v6.1

Re: HOW TO: Import an EHM 2007 database into EHM 1
Not sure what to tell you, the download links work fine for me (the databases are in zip files, you have to unzip them)
Just now I downloaded CJ's 2006 database (v6.1) and imported it into EHM without a problem.
I also tried two 2010-11 databases (versions 3.0 and 3.1) and both downloaded fine, but wouldn't import; I got an error message saying there were to many teams in the AHL (though the PreGame Editor shows the right number of teams in the AHL) & the error message also said the database may be corrupt

Hi Guys!
Sorry, but the roster update TB Rosters 8.2, works in last version of EHM (2015)?
I was trying to importe de DB, but an error appears.
The files of EHM 2015 and de DB TB Rosters are different. In first I only have one file in database.

I'm new in this field, and I'm lost because are many versions of EHM.
I've the last one but I cannot import the Rosters. Also, I have a fake roster with the original DB of the game

Is there any way to import a new salary cap? Trying to use CJ 2006 DB but that 44 millions cap makes the sim stupid after 2 to 4 years which alter my fun. It's the same using the default 2006 db.

Hi, I am trying to import tbl 9.4v rosters, but when I push "Import Database" button I don't have an option to browse what to import. Any solutions?
P.S. I don't have Early Access version of the game, everywhere I read the tutorials are for EHM EA.

If you're using the Steam Workshop version, no import is required. You should find the database when starting a new game (click on database: "default" and choose the TBL 9.4 instead).
EHM EA is basically the same game as the current version, it is often referred to EA as that was it's "title" when it came out.

Steam is the only way you can purchase the new EHM (EHM1)...how did you buy the game without Steam?aL13n wrote:Nop I don't have Steam.
EHM EA and EHM1 are the same game (Early Access was just what it was called the first 6 months; development of the game released two years ago now remains ongoing, with the last major update being this past January IIRC); for many basic things (like importing a database, finding needed folders, adding player pictures/logos, etc) the process is no different now than it was when the game was first released in Early Access, and thus the tutorials are still applicableaL13n wrote:P.S. Re: HOW TO: Import an EHM 2007 database into EHM 1
Hello,
I have been updating my database since 2011. I have done a lot of work on it. I need help. I would like to get / import some data into the new EHM Manager.
This is especially about the Slovak and Czech Leagues. I would like to get my team teams there. Can you help me?
I want them there to be able to play 1, 2, 3. Slovak and Czech league as it is in a new manager.
Help me please

No, EHM 1 only allows EHM 2007 databases to be imported. I have been working on the ability to convert EHM 2004 databases into EHM 2007 (which can then be imported into EHM 1) using my Editor but it isn't quite complete.Filip Croatia wrote: Wed Dec 19, 2018 5:45 pm Archi, is it possible to import EHM 2004 database into EHM 1 ?I would like to win SC with my star-studded Colorado Avalanche.

HOW TO: Import an EHM 2007 database into EHM 1
Dear Guru's
I'm having a problem with importing an old Lidas series database, I've done several over the years and know about start year and rule set in the import config, every one has been successful before, but the series 3.x for 2010-11 are all coming back with errors … 3.0, 3.1 3.1 + DEL update … all say during import that the AHL team count doesn't match, found 32 vs. needs 27 … any idea on a fix ? Series 4.x for 2011-12 were all fine as are 98-99 retro and 06-07 original, so I'm a bit baffled about this one.
When I go into the database through the old 2007 editor it shows 27 teams in the AHL, not 32 that the importer says it found that causes it to shut down ...
Thanks

HOW TO: Import an EHM 2007 database into EHM 1
Try opening one of the DBs you successfully imported in the EHM 1 Editor (open the original EHM 2007 DB and not the imported EHM 1 version - the Editor is able to load EHM 2007 databases). In the Editor, click on Export Spreadsheet and export a list of clubs. Then do the same with one of the v3.x databases. Hopefully by comparing the two spreadsheets in Excel will allow you to find the difference. It might be something as simple as an incorrect number of teams with a Detailed Division setting (check how many teams are in each AHL Division).
