Write me the rules anyway :)
OK - I will check it out!

Latvian league rules:
1st and 2nd team after regular season automatically qualifies for semi finals.
In quarter finals 3rd team plays with 6th and 4th with 5th till 3 wins.
Semi finals till 3 wins.
Gold series till 4 wins.
Bronze series till 3 wins.
The different wins needed for a series is something that I have no clue how to implement, the pre-playoffs seems similar to what happens for the DEL, although they have a round more as they start with 10 playoff teams (i think).
Try to copy here and there, it's mostly a trial and error thing, unfortunately.

Try copy rules of Asia League. They seemed to have exactly this playoff schedule.

I have the same problem with the French league. I guess it's due to some clash with national teams competitions. Probably it'd be better to move the calendar a few days earlier or later. Will sim up to september to check national team comps.

How did you remove the crash from team schedule? =D>
You should show us some screens from the editor, it looks like you did a great job.
EDIT: I can click on team schedule from VHL teams too, but with France, it crashes.

I only did Latvian league, so I have no idea about French league...
Team schedule for Latvian league crashed at the beginning for me too (without play offs added, but only with a league enabled), but after I added playoffs it don't crashes anymore, but I still got that cup fixture error on 9th January...

You must do something different IF schedule button works. We have to find issue. Maybe in settings?

What league did you use for copying? I get the 9th January error too (on 15th may as well), but it is nothing serious really, you jsut need to click ok. Although of course having no errors would be much better.

I am now on my old laptop with Windows XP, so I can't access the editor...
But for league I mostly used archibalduk's example with some changes and for playoffs Asian league playoffs system (again with some changes too), for schedule I used at the beginning Danish league schedule, but at the end created new one based on real Latvian league dates.

I just wanted to say BIG thanks to archibalduk for this editor! =D>

I didn't have time to mess with editing leagues so far (I'm planning to try my luck with Australian or South African :) ), but I wanted to ask are there plans to release upcoming database with additional new leagues if they will be stable at that time?

I think that the idea is to release the 9.0 version, and then we'll see.

I keep on getting a multitude of games on September 23rd. I think that the problem is that the league starts late, but I have no clue in how to get it starting earlier. In the schedule file I set the league to start on September 9th, but it works only on the first season...
EDIT: In the schedule, only one game is displayed, and I have only 41 games in the schedule screen. I'll sim out the season and see how many games get played.

Yes there is only 30 games irl and they play with each other 5 times - it's a semi-pro league after all, where significant amount of players have other job too!
Here is the standings at the end of the last season if you are interested: http://statistika.glaive.pro/2015_2016_ ... as_speles/.

I have now noticed that at the end of September teams have 4 or 5 games (depending on team) in 7 days on 2nd season, but other than that everything looks fine and maybe even this anomaly can be fixed by increasing number of fixture dates, because after last editing I was like 3 dates short of optimal number if I remember correctly - I will test it tomorrow.

It seems the same bug, although in my case it forces the start on September 23rd.
How do you increase the number of fixture dates? Don't you increase the games too?

Thanks to everybody who is testing it out and sharing their experiences. =D> This reminds me of the old Start Date Thread when we were figuring out the start date patch using the ArtMoney tool. I love the community spirit with things like this.

I'll do my best to get a new version of the Editor released this weekend with the various definitions added. Hopefully this will make our testing a little easier.

Would you mind sharing the Text Report detailing all of your settings? If you go to the Latvian League in the Editor and click on Export you'll see an "Export to Text Report" option (see screenshot below). Then if you either post the content of the text file in this thread (you can use

Code: Select all

[ /code] tags) or upload the text file somewhere then that'd be really useful.

I'm not 100% sure I'm correctly following the conversation here, but FYI the Number of Dates setting in the Number of Dates must (IIRC) match the number of entries in the Schedule Dates table. You probably already know this, but I thought I'd mention it in case that's what you're referring to above.
