Is it possible to add Non Trade Clause to player's contracts while editing a Database ?

We cannot edit NTCs in the TBL Roster Updates.
It might be possible to edit in one of the newer editors.

We believe the game sets NTCs by looking at age and current ability (or reputation)

It's not possible in the EHM 1 DB either. I think greater control over contracts is planned in the long term though.

Currently you can only set the estimated wage and contract end date in the EHM 1 DB but I'm planning on adding a new table for contract details such as clauses etc. But that is likely to come in at version 1.5 only as the 1.4 update is mainly for updating the 2016 ruleset and various gameplay improvements.

Are there any plans to introduce non-contracts from FM where player don't have basic wage, but only performance bonuses + other FM feature where it's possible to set in database to what contract clubs are signing players, for example:
1st liners: full time contract;
2nd liners: part time contract;
3rd liners: non-contract;
4th liners: amateur contract.

Not for this version. That would require a bigger revamp of the contract system to allow all that.

Does this even exist in hockey?

All minor hockey leagues in Europe pretty much work like that (Latvia, Italy, ...)
