why Poweplay is so Overpowered?
so i got this game about a week ago and i have been getting frustrated because Powerplay is so overpowered AI scores nearly at every PP opportunity and same thing with my team......and for some reason scoring at 5vs5 situations is so rare. does anyone know what im doing wrong and is there any PDF guides that explains how these tactics and other things work....im playing with Calgary Flames Using 2016-2017 mod. this game is good but it has huge learning curve (in my opinion)

This thread ("Tips and Guides for Newbie") and the advice/links within is probably a good starting point http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... lit=newbieGoofyWillows wrote:so i got this game about a week ago and i have been getting frustrated because Powerplay is so overpowered AI scores nearly at every PP opportunity and same thing with my team......and for some reason scoring at 5vs5 situations is so rare. does anyone know what im doing wrong and is there any PDF guides that explains how these tactics and other things work....im playing with Calgary Flames Using 2016-2017 mod.
There's LOTS of tips/explanations on this site, particularly in this Forum http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=17
The 2005/2007 Guides at the top are still helpful, as are the stickied threads at the top (regarding things like Tactics, PP/PK, Practice, etc)
IMO that's not a bad thing at all! it's what makes the game so good; any decent "simulation" should have a huge learning curve (I myself don't have much interest in anything simple/easy to learn)GoofyWillows wrote:this game is good but it has huge learning curve (in my opinion)
