OT Loss

Don't know if it's the correct place to post this but ever since the new update something is wrong with playing in OT.

I'm playing in the NHL, during the regular season , match ends as a draw and we go to OT. OT finishes a draw as well an it takes me to pick the players for the Shootout. I pick them , hit OK and it takes me out of the menu and to the end of the game. I lose by one goal. It doesn't even show the shootout or anything else, just ends the game and the opponent beats me by one goal. And it says goal was scored in overtime at the end. How can it be since i go to the menu to pick the shooters.

The weird fact is that it doesn't happen all the time, i go through shootouts normally, i see each shot as it should be. But the losses happened 4-5 times and i cannot understand or explain what is triggering them.

I played the game before the 1.3 update and it didn't happen. I don't mind losing it's part of the game but it's annoying.

I haven't actually played EHM in quite awhile (I spend almost all of my EHM time testing/editing), but I don't recall ever picking my shooters in the midst of the game right before the shootout...I thought ingame it just went to the shootout (and you picked your shootout shooters before/between playing games via the roster screen via the filter options there) - maybe my memory is wrong?

I've seen this or something similar before the latest patch too. Happens quite rarely so I never mentioned it.

This is probably something from the coding of EHM 2007 since I remember that this used to happen in that too

Also sometimes when playing OT the game just instantly simulates to the winning goal without any highlights at least in the "Extended" mode

This happens to me too and it's really frustrating because when this happens none of the stats from the game are recorded, I had a player in my last save lose a scoring title because of this. I don't know why it happens but I do know that it will happen whenever I see the in game date on the roster screen flipping between the date and "0% updating".

Riz noted on the SI EHM Bugs Forum today "Yes, there was a divergence identified in the 2D engine v79 that was causing a score change in the OT on rare occasions. This caused the OT to first play normally and the shootout choices were shown if there was no score, but when re-calculating the highlights before going into the shootout the OT result changed. It has been fixed for the next update."
