I have watched several Jokerit games, and can only confirm. He's playing well, hard, focused.

If he will play, but I doubt, check out Matvei Zaseda. The kid may even have NHL potential. Byvaltsev is having a great season, a good two-way center who's having a breakout season. And of course the Ushenin twins are always a treat to watch. A duo with great skating and chemistry.
The Ushenin twins combined well for the second Amur goal, nice pass from Vyacheslav to free Vladislav

Zub played well too imho. Zaseda is playing in the MHL at the moment, too bad you couldn't see him, but on the other hand, he probably would have limited ice time.

Just when I thought I had seen everything, KHL proves me wrong.

Sorry about the last video, but I could not find any better one.

Saw the goalie one floating around Twitter earlier, no idea how he doesn't realise the puck is that close to his net!!

I have another work trip to Helsinki booked for 12-16 December, no Jokerit game :thdn: , but HIFK take on Sport so I'll try to get to that.

I think Sibir just wanted to make a show - they are doing a lot of "similar" stuff to entertain the crowd. Novosibirsk has a great crowd, and unfortunately an old arena. They are trying hard to get a new one though, there were some renders out there. Found it: http://i.imgur.com/x0R7GPQ.jpg but it's just a render... it's unknown wheter and when a new arena will be built unfortunately.

The only one in the building more oblivious than the goaltender has to be the forward who passed instead of shot! :-D

Well if you look at the Dynamo players, they seem they don't believe it themselves... Frankly I think he wasn't sure if the game was going and didn't want to shoot not to cause a mess with the goalie drinking...
What a move in any case :-D

Looks to me like he's looking to pass (and looking at his teammate who he passes to) the entire clip, and never even looks at the net

Thanks! I'm flying out this afternoon, already got tickets for the long side. :-D

I believe klacken is heel. It's a shame there's no Djurgarden game when I'm there

I agree with you, truly a shame you miss out on some of europes best ambiance within hockey.

Klacken is where the hardcore fans are, and its only stands, so no sitting but it doesn't matter when the fans are great :)

Jokerit sandwich their five-match losing streak between two three-point nights against SKA. I do not get this team... :D

The don't really have the consistency! :-D Weird to imagine that they're struggling to make the playoffs. They were a team that could be a Gagarin Cup contender. And they have my favorite head coach so he's not to blame! :-D

Medvescak Zagreb is leaving the KHL and will join the EBEL instead.

Makes perfect sense as Medvescak has had financial problems and will now have much shorter travels

Supposedly 25% of the shares for the new London KHL team are still unsold (suggesting 75% are sold), so it sounds as though things are slowly moving forward with that. Doubt they'll be around this coming season however.

On an unrelated note, today was my final day at my current job so no more work trips to Helsinki to watch HIFK/Jokerit 8-[

Serves you right as you failed to watch any Espoo games! [-(

Nah, I kid. That's unfortunate. But at least you are free to drink every day now. Like me! :joy:

Shame I was hoping to go and see a KHL game there next year.
