How to fire a head coach on a rolling contract?

So I have a head coach that i signed but something happened and he never became my Head Coach and got stuck on a rolling contract, now i can't fire him from the position however i was able to sign someone to replace him.
Any help would be appreciated as i want Dubas as my head coach.

Is the "terminate contract" button missing in the "actions" drop down menu? If so, does he show up in the personnel list? If he does, try right clicking him and terminating contract there; If he's missing there too, try and see if he's in the practice screen and right click terminate there. If none of the above work I think you're Bryzgalov'd. You can set him to not be your coach in the editor by loading up the save game. I don't know if that works for coaches, it doesn't for players though. Because there is some entry relating to what team they play to that archibalduk hasn't decoded yet that also needs to be changed for a player to legitimately not be part of a team any more. It would make logical sense for the same thing to apply to coaches, but this is EHM so logical sense is out the window a fair bit of the time. If all else fails you can try that, alternatively just change the entry on which club he "plays" for, rather than which one he's signed to. Then switch it back to yours. There was a bug a while back where you could get your prospects to disappear from your roster list that was fixed by loaning them out and recalling them instantly. The same fix might work with coaches if you're lucky. There's no way to loan out a coach in-game though, so you'd need to try and do it with the editor and hope against hope that it updates the cached values for which team he's on.
