Did you figure this out?
I guess the information could be inculded on each leagues rules page to make it easier. Basically each country has X amount of spots available. So basically just start winning!

It means that there won't be update in CHL's competition format ? (from 17/18 eight groups with 4 teams instead od 16x3)

I'm not sure. The game will keep on searching for teams.Named wrote:This I think we can edit.

Re: Continental Cup and Champions Hockey League
It’s a weird one, there are rules and structures for it when you go looking in Arch’s editor?
Not sure I they have any effect on the game though?
I think Continental Licences need a look though? Pretty sure no teams should have an ‘A’ licence any more for the CHL; those were for ‘founding’ teams that always qualified. Maybe we should see what effect ‘B’ and ‘C’ Licences only have? I’ve still not managed to get all of this season’s qualifiers involved, the game seems to want to draw lots of DEL and Austrian teams for some reason; where their real-life representation has gone down.
I’ll try and do something more detailed but at the very least for the UK teams:
Nottingham Panthers should have a ‘Continental B’ (Continental Cup Winners)
Cardiff Devils should have ‘Continental C’ (League Champions)
Sheffield Steelers should have ‘Lower Continental B’ (Playoff Champions - to qualify for the Continental Cup)
