Citizenship

Hi i am sorry for my english.

I would ask you about citizenship. if I play for example for Latvian team, in Latvian league and i sign canadian player. He playing for my team cca 4 years... is possible that he get Latvia citizenship and he will can play for Latvia?

It is possible, but it somewhat doesn't work in all the leagues/nations. Latvia has nationality years set as zero... I have never seen for example a player gaining Russian nationality. A player also needs to never leave a country for a single day and it makes it very difficult. But for example, for Austria I seen it working.
