Hi,
I'm not sure this is a bugs but i can never grant contract higher than 5,5M per year.
I play with montreal canadiens and tbl roster 98-99. And i cannot figure why it's doing this.
my total player salaries is 28M and my budget is 52M.
I checked my preferences and it does seem to be all right.
Salary issue - Unable offer more than 5.5m per year

The ownership of the team sets a limit to what you can offer a player. This amount depends on what role you offer the player and how close you are to your budget. If you have a lot of big offers made to other free agents, they may drop that value as well.
