How do I install and use a database / roster update?

Post by CAPTAL »

i downloaded the 2012-13 season than copied and pasted it into the Ehm floder. the way it was explained to me was when you go to start a new game it would ask you what database you wanted to use and type in the 2012-13 add on file that i downloaded. unless my game screen is diff it does not ask me that at all. just wondering how i get that season into the game to overide the 2006-07 season thats on there now.

The way it works is as follows:

1) Ensure that you use using the v3.0.4 game patch. You can download it here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =82&t=6627

2) Download the roster update. Extract the files to a sub-folder of your database folder. Note that the roster update's .dat files MUST be located DIRECTLY within the sub-folder and not with in any further sub-folders (i.e. a not within a sub-sub-folder).

3) Load EHM, click on the New Game button. You will be presented with a window asking you which database you want to use -> Select the correct database from the list -> Start your new game like normal.

Further details are here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... #Databases (or you can click on the link in the large pink box above this thread). ^^^

Post by scottababc »

Hi, I'm just unsure of how to make the custom database I downloaded from here playable for EHM 2007, any help would be appreciated.

If you're looking to use the TBL Rosters with EHM07 (and not the new EHM), that's not possible anymore

The Rosters for the new EHM are not compatible with EHM07 anymore (IIRC the last Rosters that can be used with EHM07 are from 2014-15)
