Hey guys,
I am currently playing as the New York Rangers with the 98/99 rosters and I was wondering why my board won't allow me to offer more than 6 M to top free agents ? My estimated cap salary is currently at 38.4 M, while the salary cap is at 48 and my player budget at 57 M..
I was also wondering if it's normal that every year there's many top end player on the free agent market ? After 3 season I've seen Jagr, Yzerman, Fedorov, Hasek, Bure, Forsberg, Bourque, etc.. on the market which doesn't make much sense.. I was just wondering if it's happening to anyone else ?

i had the same issue, kind of annoying to have a lot of money but being unable to spend it.
for the top end UFA, it was happening more often in the past to have top-end UFA available on july 1st. but in this case, this may be caused by bugs in the code.
