I haven't found anything regarding this topic while looking through the last pages, so I thought I'd ask in a new topic:
I haven't played the game in quite some time, and now wanted to get back into it with the new rosters. Since the last time I played quite a few leagues have been added though, especially in the US and lower levels in Europe, and now I wanted to ask what kind of difference it makes in terms of development between having the leagues running on full-sim, view-only or not active at all.
I generally want to have all big and decent nations have a proper level of talent and normal development, but at the same time I don't want things to be too taxing on the performance. I don't plan on playing in most of the leagues anyway, so is putting (for example) all the Swedish leagues on view-only enough, would it be beneficial to have the first-tier on full-sim even if I don't plan on playing there, or is it even necessary for proper development to have lower leagues active at all?
The same question applies to US college and youth leagues as well as Canadian juniors.
I think last time around I had the NHL, AHL, ECHL, the three major junior leagues and the biggest European leagues running full, a lot of leagues on view-only and some not active at all. Now I would like to know if some of this is even necessary, and how others are handling all the different leagues?

Re: Choosing league-settings at the start
Hello,
if you have slightly better computer then you can run all the leagues smoothly.
I choose normally top leagues like NHL, KHL, CHL and few more and the one I will start my career at as "Enhanced" and all others as "View Only". Ofcourse all the countries I am playing at I put on "Enhanced" so in case I would start let say in NHL i would put on full sim as well all other minor American and Canadian leagues.
Important thing is that you will not get extra informations whats going on in the other leagues but only in the league you are playing at the moment so do not worry for spam from leagues you do not care about much but you still put them on Enhanced.
During the game you can always adjust your starting choices at Settings menu under "Detail level" and "Selected leagues" but only for those you checked at the start of the game to be simulated.
I hope that help you a bit.
