Lost game save

Post by Deathrow »

Hi,

i create this thread but it seems like the thread "corrupted save".

i have this error on my screen when i start to launch my save: "error load_game_data ():invalid save path".

My save is in the folder but the game doesn't recognize it.
I post a topic on the sigames forum and i use the FTP logiciel to upload my save file. It's called "carriere.sav"

Do you think i will have an answer of my problem? Or should i play a new game changing the preferences of saving settings? I spent near than 330 hours il this save 8-[ 8-[

Thx

I've never heard of anyone being able to bring back a corrupted save file. To avoid this from happening again, disable Save Compressed and use Save Safely.

Just to be sure.... Should i replay a new game with the new save settings or can i use a save who was compressed with changing the save settings in it to continue the game?

I think you can continue, if you have a save file, just start using the Save Safely option. A compressed save is more likely to be corrupted, but if you save safely, you'll still have a backup that is quite close to where you had reached if that should happen.
