EHM multiplayer - Step by step tutorial
Hey, is there some tutorial for EHM multiplayer? If someone can do some kind of tutorial video, it would be great!

Depends on how you want it set up. Let me know if you have any problems with directions I gave you.

Re: EHM multiplayer - Step by step tutorial
I am looking for help setting up an online EHM league. Currently I am able to host a game and have friends connect to my IP address and join me. this is ok, but we were really hoping for something like a persistent server. an ongoing league that simulates a season in around a month's time. we would be GMs and maybe log in once or twice week to make trades or adjust lineups and what have you, but for the most part it would be kind of like managing a fantasy hockey team more than sitting down and playing long sessions of a game.
so my big obstacles are a.) i cannot keep my laptop open and running the game 24/7, so is there a way to have the game hosted on some kind of third party server?
b.) is there a way so that the game could auto advance at certain intervals. maybe every 5 or 10 minutes it would advance a day?
thank you for any help

You can host it on a third party server, as long as you have a remote desktop connection software for access. The rest would depend entirely on your programming skills as nothing like that exists in the game.

I'll use this thread because it's kind of the same topic...
What server specifications would you (hosts of runnning online leagues) recommend?
I've read about a third party server, some remote connection software (Hyper-V, vSphere, ...) - but how to set everything up correctly? And which system requirements are needed for EHM 1 in a real online mode? Suer... in the end there should be at least 3-4 people able to connect to the server/EHM and check for problems.
Thanks in advance.
