[Freeware] EHEC - Seeking GM's

Post by TB EHEC GM » Wed Oct 08, 2014 3:21 am

EHEC is days away from its fifth season. We sim the NHL schedule in real-time, which provides an unparalleled realistic experience. Our staff works extremely hard to keep up the standards that we set back in 2009. We have a fun and competitive environment for our all GMs, and our happy to help new members learn the game.

We have accounted for realignment this season, have up-to-date NHL/AHL affiliations, and have created the real-life draft class every off-season. We feature a detailed rulebook, financial system, and a General Manager Office where you can make changes to your team which are instantly in-putted into the game file using the GM Office software. Demote, recall, change positions, move staff, change training are just some of the features built into our GM Office software.

Apply here: http://www.ehechockey.com/application.php

Here are the available teams:

COLORADO AVALANCHE

While in years past the Avs has been locked into a bottom feeder spot, they have taken steps in the right direction the last two seasons. Despite continuingly missing the post-season, they appear to be a piece or two away from getting into the playoffs. Perfect for a manager who wants to put his own stamp on a team, but not completely tear it down. Possesses their 2015 1st round draft pick.

Core players: Simeon Varlamov, Gabriel Landeskog, Drew Doughty and Matt Duchene

NEW YORK ISLANDERS

Another team that has failed to make the post-season the last few years, NYI has never really had a long-time GM Unfortunately; it shows when looking at their roster. This team is for a GM who wants a challenge, and is looking to build a contender through the draft. Possesses their 2015 1st round draft pick.

Core players: David Krejci, Ryan Murray, Christopher Gibson, and Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson

OTTAWA SENATORS

The last Sens GM made some major moves which put Ottawa in a position to contend this season. They have all the core pieces to be a playoff team, except a goalie. A GM looking to instantly contend after making a few minor moves would be perfect for this team. Possesses their 2015 1st round draft pick and one additional 1st round draft pick.

Core players: Jason Spezza, Brian Lee, David Backes, and Mika Zibanejad

WASHINGTON CAPITALS

The Caps have made the post-season in all four years of EHEC. However, they have struggled to find post-season success against the bigger power house teams. The Capitals could go either way, add a few pieces and make a Cup run or tear it down and rebuild within. They have many valuable assess, any GM would be lucky to take over a perennial contender like the Capitals. Possesses their 2015 1st round draft pick.
Core players: Pavel Datsyuk, Morgan Rielly, Zach Parisé and Andrei Markov

WINNIPEG JETS

Another team who has contended before, the Jets had a finals berth just two seasons ago. However, they failed to take advantage and did not perform well last season. They are a cap team, and will need a GM who can navigate their tricky financial status while still enabling them to contend. One of the top teams in EHEC, their core is young and elite. Possesses their 2015 1st round draft pick.
Core players: Jonathan Huberdeau, Alex Pietrangelo, Sean Couturier, and Logan Couture.

EHEC is half way through Season Six. We sim the NHL schedule in real-time, so this is the perfect league for somebody who wants to be involved, but hates leagues that are currently in 2034.

We have accounted for realignment and the new play-off format, have up-to-date NHL/AHL affiliations, and have created the real-life draft class every off-season.

The revolutionary General Manager Office gives you the power to control line-ups, training, NHL/AHL movement and staff online. Run every aspect of your team from a web browser (PC, Mac, Smartphone, or Tablet). The changes are in-putted immediately and appear right away. You can also write news articles that will be instantly published on the EHEC front page.

The Rulebook is detailed to allow for competitive balance, but we have veteran GMs to answer any questions.

We will have one team with a GM opening in the near future, so don't hesitate and fill out an application today!

EHEC has begun its seventh season. We sim the NHL schedule in real-time (day by day), which provides an unparalleled realistic experience. Here are the available teams:

COLORADO AVALANCHE (2-1-1 - 5 PTS - 2nd in Central Division)
The Avs have been a bottom feeding rebuilding for the last 3 years or so, but made a mjaor shakeup this past off-season. A young core has been re-enforced with some veteran additions, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was acquired in a block buster deal.
Core players: RNH, Gabriel Landeskog, Matt Duchene, Connor Murphy and Marc Staal

EDMONTON OILERS (1-4-0 - 2 PTS - 6th in Pacific Division)
Edmonton has made regular post-season apperances since EHEC's inception; however, they ave failed to make a signifcant run each season. The Pacific division is a tough division, and cap troubles have made this seasons outlook even more dimmer. The Oilers appear a crossroads right now but still have signifcant assets.
Core players: Michael Frolik, Luke Schenn, Nazem Kadri, and Thomas Vanek

EHM Freeware Online Leagues Thread

Post by archibalduk » Sat Dec 03, 2016 10:29 am

Please post any adverts for online Freeware EHM Leagues in this thread (any outside of this thread will be deleted). We have had a lot of difficulty with people spamming the forums / constantly upping threads in the past. Consequently we do not allow a league to be advertised in this thread more than once every two months.

HSSL, it stands for Hockey Stars Sim League.

I plan to open the league when I get 20-25 GM's, so I need to know if there's anybody interested in joining a sim league. Will be using EHM v1.16, as that's the program I've been using for a while lately to run an online league(s). The simmer of HSSL is active, and is always active when it comes to simming. And the sims usually happens daily. So let me know if you are interested, so I can post the league up!

Thanks.

I'll provide the link anyway: http://hsslnetworkpro.forumotion.com/
I checked out your site but couldn't find the rules or simming schedule anywhere. Looks like you're going through seasons pretty fast...

Come join the Global Hockey League (GHL) at http://globalhockeyl.proboards.com/

We have a dedicated commissioner and a long-history. GHL is actually a reboot league from a previous run that took us into the 2030 season. That means this roster pack contains some of your favorites, and some of the kids along the way, including Nolan Patrick, Joseph Veleno, Auston Matthews, Connor McDavid, and Jack Eichel!

All open teams have a cross-conference interim GM, so you have someone who has been watching over the open teams to continue their rebuilds or continue their cup run; we have both opportunities available for the GMs looking for those chances! Open teams are Anaheim, Buffalo, Colorado, Columbus, New York Rangers, Nashville, and Vancouver.

Come check us out; we hope to bring in some active GMs to add to our already stellar crew!

Thanks,
Joe (ATL GM)

Your report was ignored because we're not going to start removing posts by third party users because you want them removed. It is quite sufficient that it is mentioned in this thread that this league is no longer active. I've already removed all ads for it, and now we're done with this. Thank you.

Hi to all EHM Freeware fans.

The worlds longest running EHM league (est 2001) is currently recruiting for new managers. We have a number of teams open which can be viewed Here

We have just finished the Play-offs and the Draft and are about to enter the off season schedule starting Monday the 23rd. Off-season games are scheduled to start on Saturday the 4th of November and the 1st regular season games will be played on Wednesday the 8th of November.

We havea really strong league that has been going almost 16 years. Come along and join in. There might be all these fancy new sim games out there, but none let you play-off against 29 other players like EHM Freeware does, and thats where the challenge really lies.

We have decided to bring back an old league that was near and dear to our hearts and have worked to revive PTPHL, a freeware EHM sim league.

PTPHL consists of a solid core of GMs and an active, dedicated Commissioner who has edited a roster file thoroughly to ensure all young players have proper ceilings and will grow according to what they are projected to be.

We have replaced the Arizona Coyotes franchise with the Vegas Golden Knights and have swapped Columbus to the east and Winnipeg to the west to keep conferences more properly aligned.

We have a discord server for our league as well, should you choose to join.

We are just three weeks into the start of the 2017 season. There are still plenty of great teams remaining. We hope to see you on the ice.

Have been playing the EHM 2001 for years in several online leagues. But with the NHL expanding (now Vegas, later Seattle) it shifted more and more to the EHM 2015.

Did anyone ever find out how to edit the freeware EHM database and how to get a 31st franchise into it or maybe just switching Conferences/Divisions?

I have been running my own league since 2001 (like the energizer bunny it's still going.....), INHL, it is a file based league using the orginal freeware version of the game.

I am perhaps looking to join an online league, just need some advice on a good league to join, and what I need to do it, any advice would help!

PTPHL is in the midst of our third season and have some openings we are looking to fill. PTPHL is an active league with a dedicated Commish and an edited file assuring growth from young players. We have a Discord and even our own version of a fantasy league where you can earn Points that can be turned in for rewards at the store.

We have openings in the following teams:
ANAHEIM - A post-mini rebuild team led by youth in the absence of the old core. Top players include Hamphus Lindholm, Troy Terry, Rickard Rakell, Sam Steel and Nick Ritchie.
BUFFALO - The Sabres are on the cusp of competing with a dangerous top six. Top players include Jack Eichel, Rasmus Ristolainen, Jack Roslovic, Cassey Mittelstadt and Sam Reinhart.
CAROLINA - A power house dominating their division and ready to compete for a championship. Top players include Noah Hanifin, Elias Lindholm, Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastien Aho and Julien Gauthier.
CHICAGO - Much different than the Hawks you're used to, Chicago may be in need for a retool but could also possibly compete with some good moves. Top players include Vladimir Tarasenko, Joe Pavelski, Alex Pietrangelo, Corey Crawford and Robert Thomas.
OTTAWA - Stacked and loaded with high quality forwards but could use some work on D and in goal. Top players include Steven Stamkos, Ryan Getzlaf, Nikita Kucherov, Blake Wheeler and Tyler Johnson.
ST. LOUIS - A deep squad ready to compete but marred with a tough division. Top players include Patrick Kane, Nathan MacKinnon, Evander Kane, Thomas Chabot and William Karlsson.

The EHEC is looking to fill some open GM spots. The league has been running a day to day schedule for the last 9 years with all the roster being up-to-date with the real life. Our website is amazing and VERY user friendly. Come take a look and we'll be happy to get some new blood in there.

[Freeware] EHEC - Seeking GM's

Post by TB EHEC GM » Sun Nov 11, 2018 4:36 am

We simulate using the original EHM Freeware and simulate one league day for every one real life day. This allows us to input real life draftee's each year. The league is was founded in 2009 and is currently running its 10th season. There are still 7 GMs for the original Season 1 participating in the league.

While player development has diverged slightly from real life, the league remains incredibly realistic and accurate for how long it has been running. At this point, EHEC must be considered the greatest EHM league of all time.
