It was an Uber drivers hidden cam that recorded that. And that team was drunk. That's not respectable by any means.
I bet many players aren't happy with how they're threated and talk with other players all the time. This was a sad moment caught on cam. I think that's just natural.
Maybe Ducks fire Carlyle and appoint Quenneville?!

Indeed the Uber drive shouldn't have put that on the internet but it's still tells alot about the mood running in Ottawa. Drunk people speaks the truth!
FYI - there was no reference to it being shocking and no hopes/prayers comment in the (NA) media I saw...
Bruins's GM comment was "It's not health related. It's important to respect his privacy and allow him to deal with it for the next few days."

Tuukka Rask stated that it was a family issue. Well he said he has two works. Hockey and family. So he had to take care of one of those.. Glad he's back and it didn't seem to be any long term thing. I respect privacy. No need to wonder what it was all about anymore.
I'm still "watching" the NHL condensed games (they play in the background on my iPad while I'm on my PC) but my only access to full games is HNIC on Saturdays...I've not yet watched a whole game; for me thus far a period or two in half the games I've seen has been "good" (Leafs can be fun to watch)
Didn't take long for me to lose interest in Montreal/Vancouver last night...I enjoyed the first period of the Flames/Oilers last night, then lost interest in the second period...the NHL is softer than I've ever seen it and it's hard for me to care (the games all seem like a variation of an all-star game...the stick checking I see as the primary form of defense in NHL games really does remind me of watching the under age 10 kids play non-contact hockey)
I don't miss fighting at all, or "dirty play" but I do really, really miss hitting & forechecking.....players used to chip the puck past the D and then there'd be hitting/and board play but now the norm is to chip the puck past the D and zip around and retrieve it keeping your back to the D (and your face to the boards)...and then it turns into ringette/basketball style non-contact offensive zone hockey
I'm looking forward to the playoffs! The regular season is definitely "meh" for me though
Pittsburgh's struggling lately/Matt Murray's been struggling...I just saw Malkin make a kick save (protecting an EN) in the Penguin's loss to Ottawa last night - maybe they should try Malkin in goal!
I like the changes to goalie equipment (watching an hour or two of NHL condensed games daily, I believe more pucks are getting through between the body and arm because of them).....I sure wish they'd outlaw that extra knee pad (that allows the pad to rotate into a right angle & allows the goalies to slide around on their knees), but I don't see that happening.
One thing they could do is reduce the goalie interference calls (any goalie interference that happens outside the crease isn't goalie interference! it's either interference or not, but IMO a goalie moving out of his crease [especially when attempting to make a save] and contacting an opponent shouldn't ever be able to claim goalie interference)
Hextall got fired in Philly. Normally it's the coach that gets fire when the team has bad results when normally it's the GM's fault but for once I thought that Hextall wasn't doing that bad of a job.
I wonder if they fired him after the bad contract he offered to what's his name? Koskinen? The guy hasn't proved anything and he gets more than Talbot, who's also pretty bad.

I know it's a little bit late to comment, but I can't believe it's the whole story. What kind of a board would accept this kind of deal and then would fire a GM? Did really nobody know about the Koskinen's new contract before he signed it? Ah right... we're talking about the Oilers board... I feel pity about their fans.
