Logo Updates:
- No longer maintaining my logo pack, I have been collaborating closely with Dani9 on a newly supported logo pack. Please download his logo pack going forward: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... earchtext=

*** FUNDEMENTAL CHANGES ***

- There are now two .db files included in both the Steam Workshop download and the off-line .zip download. The default (database.db) which is loaded into the game has an export of IAmActuallyAnOtters generated prospects added to it to create 100+ years of deep NHL drafts from all IIHF countries. There is a second .db file included which does NOT have these prospects added, this is the DB you should use if you plan on doing a fantasy draft as the added prospects cause issues with that game setting due to the negative birth date values! If you want to use this DB just rename it to database.db in the Steam Workshop folder (should be located in: *\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\301120\1428241604)

*** Additional Instructions if you start with a Fantasy Draft ***

- Also look in the extra_config.conf file (open it in Notepad or a similar text editor), there is a section I have marked that you need to remove prior to starting the fantasy draft, this is for transfers that will be occurring on 1.7.2019 for 2019-20, if you do not remove these transfers they will be transferred to their real-life clubs regardless if you drafted them or not!

Still getting some intermittent reports of crashing after the NHL All-Star game, I'm looking into it, but try going back as far as possible and simming through it. If this does happen please let me know which DB you were using (default or no prospects) and what leagues were selected.

2) Normal DB w/ out generated prospects [alternative db]
3) A "Free Agent Frenzy" version of both above DBs

The FAF version is something I have been doing for my hockey games since when I used to play and create rosters for the NHL series on PC (if you remember me from CyberNHL, DoubleMinorDownloads or NHLDepot I was EverclearKiD29), I will drop all UFA/RFA players across all the major professional leagues to the free agent pool and will bump up the salary cap to $86m in those DBs, it's a lot of fun!

Currently having an issue uses this version of these rosters. My game crashes after I try to start a new game with these rosters. I select these rosters, then select my options and the game crashes at the "Creating Shortcuts" portion of loading the game.

I have tried various things to fix this. I have unsubscribed from these rosters and re-subscribed and it still doesn't work. I have removed the database without the additional 100 prospects from: *\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\301120\1428241604 - but all that did was take away the ability of selecting this roster.

Do you know anyway of fixing this? I may just be over looking something.

Sometimes you just have to try multiple times before it'll work. If you haven't already, try playing with no extra teams or no extra players added and see if that helps.

Sometimes you just have to try multiple times before it'll work. If you haven't already, try playing with no extra teams or no extra players added and see if that helps.

Thanks, I finally got it to work. It took close to 15 tries but it worked.

Yea if you are using the version with the added prospects it definitely adds an all-around layer of minor stability issues due to the size of the DB (20+ mb added). Id like to know what leagues you selected and the settings which worked. Selecting all leagues definitely will not work.

This is regarding 3.2 and not 3.21
I've been doing some testing recently, and using 3.2 I've currently gone 30 seasons and I've now run into a repeating error message (clicking OK repeatedly does allow one to continue)

On October 25th 2048 when I try to continue I get the following error message...

ROSTER_MANAGER::compile_roster() - array overrun

I was using a Full database. For leagues selected I had the NHL & AHL + Major Junior, the USHL & the NCAA + the Elite Leagues for the Czech Republic, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland and Germany


I advanced from October 5th to October 8th by clicking Continue and then (once each day, in the Evening) repeatedly clicking OK before advancing to the next day; I counted the number of clicks the last time and it was 151 clicks before I could advance

Based on that count it sounds like its throwing the error simming each game which is why its allowed to continue to run. Looks like it's a game bug more so then any specific DB as it's been reported in a couple of different places, including the SI forum (without a reply from Riz). I'd suggest scrapping the save .

It sounds like a team has too many players on its roster. I'd suggest sending the save (and the most recent rolling save if you have one) to Riz so that he can have a look.

Our transition to 2019-20 timeline has moved up, we have decided that the final version of v3 will come likely this weekend, with the free agency version coming on July 1st. We are going to begin work on v4 starting next week.

There isn't game misconduct for fight... I can't work with editor so much, but that penalty is 2+2 penalty minutes and 10 minutes misconduct penalty

Final version of v3 posted, now shifting to v4 for the 2019-20 season. Thank you everyone for the support, feedback and help!! I couldn't be prouder of where this project is now compared to when I started last year!

General Updates:
- This will be the last update for v3 until July 1st which is when I will release an NHL/AHL focused 'Free Agent Frenzy' version of the DB. The team and I are beginning work on v4 for the 2019-20 season!

NHL/AHL/ECHL Updates:
- Latest notable signings and contract extensions
- Upped NHL coach, scout and other staff max wage
- Upped NHL Salary Cap Upper Limit to $90m USD and Lower Limit to $68.3m USD - these will also be the limits in v4 of the DB.

Belarus Updates:
- Updated Belarusian Extraliga league structure from NHL 32 v5 -- full credit to BK

Canadian Updates:
- Changed upper age limit for all Canadian peewee competitions 12, bantam to 14 and midget to 17 to better reflect real-life. Intentions for this were to cause more accurate player movement between levels and funnel more players towards the proper human-playable junior leagues instead of staying on their midget club until turning pro or going to school.
- Updated over 400 players across various levels of midget -- thanks Antho42!!
- Updated all players/staff in CJHL Pacific (AJHL & BCHL) and West (MJHL & SJHL) - over 1,000 updates -- thanks Matee!!

Czech Republic Updates:
- Updated fighting PIMs and misconduct rules and overtime and shootout rules -- thanks JeffLS!!!

German Updates:
- Added/updated all clubs/divisions for: Deutsche Oberliga, Regionalliga, Landesliga, Bezirksliga and other smaller leagues. Includes, club and competition reputation and level updates, adding cities. arena and other club details. Should be completely accurate as of the 2018-19 season.

Finnish Updates:
- Updated all clubs in Finnish III and IV divisions and folded some non-active clubs.

Israeli Updates:
- Updated Senior A/B and U20 clubs, added U18 division and clubs

Some changes to note for when you start the 2019-20 season in the CJHL:

CJHLE:
The St. Stephen Aces have relocated to Fredericton, New Brunswick and will now be known as the Fredericton Junior A Red Wings. Their home arena will be the Grant-Harvey Centre, capacity of 2200.

CJHLC:
The Kingston Voyageurs have relocated to Collingwood, Ontario and are now the Collingwood Colts. Home arena is the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena, capacity of 1516.

The Newmarket Hurricanes have relocated to Milton, Ontario and are now the Milton Menace. Home arena is Milton Memorial Arena, capacity 1000.

The Wisconsin Lumberjacks are an expansion team in the SIJHL that will play out of the Spooner Civic Center in Spooner, Wisconsin. Capacity is 1500.

CJHLW:
Winnipeg Blues now play at the Rink Training Centre in Winnipeg, capacity is 700.

CJHLP:
Calgary Mustangs have been granted a leave of absence for the 2019-20 season.
