Could you post a screenshot of the Database tab on the Settings screen? Also, if you go to the Players and Staff screen and click on Export Data -> Export Model, is Column A of the generated csv file (Display Text) blank?

Is this affecting just one DB or several DBs? You could try enabling Sort Staff Data and then restart the Editor but I don't think that will make a difference. I'll need to do some digging in order to replicate this issue.

Looks like I may have found a bug, the 'Has Errors' filter no longer appears to be working as it did in v0.3.1, it's just returning all values.

Thanks. It looks like none of the radio buttons on the filter screen work. I made some changes to the radio buttons for the purposes of the Playable Leagues Wizard and I expect I've done something to break the buttons. I'm taking at look and will try to get a fixed version out over the weekend/Monday.

So this is an issue with some of the player filters and not the radio buttons. I'm struggling to figure out what the issue is.

Found it! It was actually a typo which originates from when I first wrote the filtering code a few versions back. It just hadn't arisen before as it only arises in specific circumstances introduced with the more advanced player filtering I added in the current version.

Here's the new version (v0.3.3): https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 48&t=16014

Fixes and Improvements:
  • Fixed issue with certain player/staff filter settings not working;
  • Fixed issue with player/staff names not being displayed if the Sort Staff Data setting is disabled; and
  • Fixed minor alignment inconsistencies with certain checkboxes on filter windows.

Small request, I'd love to be able to filter competitions on other criteria like Classification and Abbreviation.

Also if possible, import Award winner history and Competition History

Staff award history can be imported via staff_award_history. Competition history can be imported via league_history.

Would it be possible to add 'Auto-set strength' as a Mass-Edit function?

A couple of issues with the Editor have arisen over recent days and this caused the delay with ECK's Pivot Rosters (thanks to my NIHL/SNL research files ):

- The duplicate players/staff spreadsheet is not listing all duplicates. I'd planned to improve this function anyway but I'm moving it up the list as it seems to be pretty unusable.

- Smart Import isn't working correctly anymore. It is not correctly matching up potential existing staff, causing duplicates to be created. This worked fine before and I can only guess that my recent work on the player rights/draft history (which was a fairly significant bit of work) has caused an issue.

- Searching for "No Division" under Division or Detailed Division on the player filter screen might not be working correctly. I haven't looked into this yet but just want to mention it so people know that it's on my radar.

I've got a question to more experienced in editing users. Is it possible to import players from one database to another? I work at "remake" of 2012/13 season db and I wonder if it's possible to import the youngest players to keep draft closer to a reality or if I'm forced to do it manually. I will be grateful for any tips and tricks and I can upload this db if anybody would be interested to see if Yakupov is a bust :)

Of course it is possible.
You can export players from one database and import them into another.
However, you still have to edit their values as six years is a long time for them to develop

Perfect! Are there any instructions how to do it properly? Everytime I try to import players I get error with a "there are no valid rows to import" message.

A search and replace or mass-edit function for career history across the entire DB would be helpful. Sometimes I find a duplicate club and need to re-purpose it and need to update some career history entries before hand so I'll have to dump the whole thing to a .csv, find the entries and manually make the changes. Not a big priority but a useful nice to have!
