I'd love for the ability to import/export Officials, so I can keep lists like these updated each year: https://en.khl.ru/officials/

KHL only has 4 officials in my DB right now, would like to be able to mass import to save some time.

This can already be done IIRC. Open the Editor and click on Import Spreadsheet -> Create Templates. Select an empty folder where you want the templates to be generated. This will create the full range of templates which can be imported into the Editor - including the officials.csv/xls file.

Having an issue editing records for a club, both the Club and Player records screens are greyed out, any idea what could be causing this?

It's a legacy from the old EHM 2007 Pre-Game Editor which did not create club and player records data for newly created clubs. I thought my Editor fixed this for those legacy clubs but I'll need to check through the code. I'll let you know.

Found a weird bug, after using the 'Rights held by' filter to update some NHL prospects, then un-selecting it and trying to search for a staff member they don't come up (tried for Mike Sullivan and Randy Sexton). I think it sets a 'Player' job filter in the background and doesn't undo it? I have to close and re-open the editor to filter on staff after, gave me quite a scare!

Edit: Can't Add players/staff after using it either.

archi - love the schedule generator matrix - doesn't always spit out a "perfect" looking schedule but does enough of the hard work up front to make creating a from scratch schedule so much easier, with just some post-tweaking to make things a bit more realistic. Have used it on several of my custom leagues already in the X databases.

That said, any way you can add a feature to import a CSV/XLS instead of manually typing? I'm going cross-eyed trying to input the matrix for my new NHL structure testing and I always seem to mess up at least one number which means starting the process all over again...

Plus I don't know if possible but the "total" columns like in the XLS belows help you track to ensure even distribution of games...possible to build that into the matrix screen on the editor?

I'm glad it is of use. I think the algorithm can be improved to create better (but not perfect) schedules. It's on the list for the next release.

Both the suggestions you make sound like really good ideas. I'll incorporate these along with the ability to export data in addition to importing data.

On the Competitions -> Club Competitions tab and then on the Basic Data screen for the competition there is a "Classification" section with three settings: Classification, Division Level and Parent Competition.

Classification and Parent Competition I understand.....what's "Division Level" for? How should it be set?

Division Level indicates the league's overall level within that nation (1 = highest level, 2 = second highest level, etc). For example, the EIHL is the top league in the UK and so it should be set to 1. The NIHL is the second best league in the UK and should be set to 2. The NIHL North 1 and the NIHL South 1 are the third best leagues in the UK and so they would each be set as 3.

I just downloaded the latest version of the editor...is this "schedule generator matrix" part of the current editor? I'm guessing it is, but I'm just not seeing it...can someone please point me to where it is in the editor?

It's on the Schedule Templates screen. Navigate to the relevant Template entry (e.g. the WHL) and then in the bottom right corner of the screen click on Schedule Generator.

Hello!

Where can I set Game Start Date for some nations? I have a trouble with drawing Belarus Extraliga, because for Belarus Game Start Data is 1.7.2019, and there no teams to set if you are starting with only Belarus Leagues.

Another problem I have. When setting the upper age limit for the league, all hockey players in it are considered juniors and receive an allowance of $ 1500. For example, in real life Russian Minor Hockey League has professional clubs, and players don't receive allowance, but serious salaries, much more than $ 1500.
In Russian Vysshaya Hockey League the age limit for hockey players is 29 years old (except 5 players), but if this limit is set in the editor, all the players of the league turn into juniors, receiving only $ 1500 allowance. I tried to set parametrs in Transfer Rules, but there are only parametr of min age in fixture rules.

It's not possible in the Editor at present owing to the complexities involved (similar to name deletion).

I'm doing this from memory, but did you ensure that the Start/Draw Date is prior to the first game of the season? I know we cannot have the Australian league because the game does not support very early dates. It might be the same issue that you are encountering.

ECK or BKArchitect would be better placed to advise on the salaries.

Tochi and I spoke and it appears that this may be a game limitation based on how Juniors works in the game, I advised him to reach out in case you knew something different.

We could have if we'd just ignore the real schedule of the Australian League and adjust it to the game

I'd love to see an Affiliation panel added to Club detail, and the ability to remove duplicate and highlight invalid club affiliations

archi - minor request (I think)...love the player rights screen and ability to remove lines individually from there but can you add a column for date of birth (really only need the year of birth) so that we can quickly sift through and eliminate old player rights?
