Completely Blank Database?

Post by efiug »

I've downloaded a few of the blank databases available on the forums but they still have a whole bunch of teams and leagues in them that I don't want, basically I just want the absolute minimum number of teams and leagues and stuff. Would this even be possible? If so how would one go about doing so?

No I don't think there is any way of doing this at present as we cannot yet delete teams from the database. But that's something I have added to my to-do list for the Editor.

Hey Archi, what is the closest we have to a complete blank database? Need a good starting point.

I think there are two options:

1. Import the Blank Database for EHM 2007 into EHM 1. This will leave you with the 2006/07 structures or possibly the 2014/15 structures if you set up the import_config.cfg file correctly.

2. Take an existing EHM 1 database (e.g. the Pivot Rosters), export a spreadsheet of all staff using the database, set their Club Contracted to "_Retire" and re-import the spreadsheet. This will retire and delete all staff when you save the DB.
