I believe this is an issue with the KHL alternative schedule, will investigate.

Confirmed, there are some other issues with the alt schedules, I will patch both DBs today.

I got an issue with a former information about Swedish Head Coach Johan Garpenlöv. He is listed now as a member of Personal in Sweden, BUT Gen Man for Kalmar. What the Dickens
He should be Head Coach for Sweden

Also found wrong in Finland Nat Team. Jukka Jalonen is their HC
Patrick Fischer is Switzerlands
and looking at the present J-20 Worlds
we got some small errors in who's HC for
Sweden, that is Tomas Monten
Finland got Raimo Helminen
Canad got Dale Hunter
USA Scott Sandelin
Czech Vaclav Varada
Russia Valeri Bragin

In some cases these coaches is not in the DB at all and in some cases we got totally wrong GM/HC for mentioned teams.
This looks to spill over to the latest TBL setup, so it would be nice to get that fixed and in order.

The world juniors coaches will be addressed in the next update, I will check out the others. For someone like Garpenlöv the game won't keep him unemployed, the national contract is separate from the full time job, so he is free to sign elsewhere and the AI will move him around.

This is a great database! Really good work, it has kept the game alive for me.

I am runnig a game with San Jose Sharks and are now in the year 2028.

I have a couple of questions.
1. Why are there players becoming rookies och the week/month/year, that isn´t supposed to be rookies? (this happens in the first year of a save) Travis Konecny won the Calder in my save now.
2. Two times in a row i haven´t been able to scout the World Cup with my scout. Plus none of my players are picked for national duty in the cup. (I have EK65 and many other that should be picked to the world cup.

1) This is a known bug in the game and has been reported to the developer
2) I'd like to see the World Cup rosters if you can share screen shots or the save game. We ran into an issue before where the national teams would never get staffed and thus never select proper players.

Nicholas Jones. He was missing stats (as the only in Hartford) 2017-18, 2018-19. He did play 10 games for Hartford in 2018-19.
Then reading this article I of course checked his Faceoff stats. A poor 6 on what was described as a faceoff specialist and natural leader. Perhaps a little increase on that stat.

Happened on previous versions of the database, but the QJMHL draft is sometime broken where there's only 3-4-5 1st round selection made and then it jumps right in the 2nd round, purely esthetic when you play in the NHL but not cool when you manage a team in this league ! I can send files if needed.

v4.9 Released:

General Updates:
- Updated potentials for future NHL draft talent
- Added/updated players and staff participating in the World Junior U20 Championships
- Reset all budget and financial data for all leagues and countries besides some specific leagues that have max contract amounts, thanks to Aahlstroem for all the research and testing!!
-- This will greatly change the way budgets were previously calculated with manually inputted numbers, we are now leaving it up to the game AI to generate more real-life realistic numbers based on club reputation and other factors
- Added financial data for some missing countries which have human-playable leagues
- Due to a game bug I've removed all re-set National Team contracts for staff in the DB, this was causing issues where National Teams would be unable to fill rosters or sign other staff
- Added over 680 physio's world-wide which should help with a lack of this critical staff on clubs -- thanks Alles!!

NHL Updates:
- Reset NHL salary cap numbers back to real-life numbers, upped some staff maximum wages to make them more realistic
-- Instructions provided in Workshop Item description on how to change the salary cap yourself
- Reduced CAs for some still available UFAs to make them less attractive to AI clubs
- Changed All-Star format to conference based (East vs West) as it's closer to the real-life format. Real-life 3v3 mini-game tournament not supported by the game at this time
- Increased CAs of some players who have really bad buried contracts so they have the right cap hits (ex: Backes & Ladd)

Ok, Retain teams seems to be the deal breaker, disabled and now it runs smooth!

I expect this will relate to a team that is not totally active or extinct (e.g. is assigned to a league but has no nation set). I will have a check to see if I can find it.

In my testing/debugging of the extra_config last week I found its required for a few reasons. You have modifications to clubs that would not normally be loaded fully by the sim if you just select let's say NHL/AHL/ECHL which is probably most of the user-base focused on an NHL sim, mainly lower reputation clubs (I think 1000 and below). Canadian junior draft picks are changed and there are future transfers and loans to/from European clubs, Canadian Junior A, USHL and other US clubs, I think Retain All Teams makes sure all those clubs are loaded into the database without needing the leagues to be selected.

Or something like that, basically I could selectively not use Retain All Teams with a basic NHL sim as long as I removed pieces of the extra_config related to some other teams (future transfers for the most part were ok besides some lower rep clubs). The Canadian Major Junior draft picks though absolutely required it or it will crash.

I'm so sick of the extra_config!

Something strange... Now I've tried to start a new game with the exact settings as before (Kazakh + most of Russian leagues) and it worked perfectly fine. Sorry for a false alarm!
